Funded Dec 1, 2015My students and I are so very grateful for your kind and generous donations to our classroom! We have already started to use the markers, note cards, post-its, and folders in class. During centers, my students are able to work on sight word flash cards and build new sight word decks using the note cards. The markers help to make our illustrations accompanying our writing pieces look beautiful. We use post-its as exit slips to ensure that every student masters the learning objectives every day. Additionally, the iGuy helps to keep our classroom mini iPad safe during centers in case of accidents.
My students were so excited to see our supplies and even more so to use them! Thank you again for your generosity and Happy Holidays!”

Funded Dec 25, 2014Thank you so much for your generous donations. My students were thrilled to receive the resources that directly reward them for putting forth efforts inside the classroom! On a daily basis, my students are given verbal praise as well as small reinforcements such as stickers and pencils.
The pencils, stickers, and reward certificates go an exceptionally long way in reinforcing hard work and accomplishment.
My students are excited and eager to work towards earning additional stickers on their charts and I have noticed a boost in self-esteem in every one of my students when they earn a reward. Words cannot express our gratitude for your donations!”

Funded Aug 24, 2014My students and I are so grateful for your generous and crucial donation to our classroom. They were so surprised and excited to see an iPad inside the package! We are currently utilizing the iPad as one of our literacy centers to practice handwriting, phonemic awareness skills, and listening comprehension skills.
The use of technology in the classroom has increased and my students are becoming more knowledgeable of how to effectively use such resources as the iPad in various ways. We have begun a research project and they cannot wait to use our new iPad to delve into it! Thank you all again, you cannot begin to imagine how much your donation means to our classroom.”

Funded Aug 4, 2014We cannot begin to thank you enough for the amazing donation of various classroom supplies to kick off another school year! Unlike the rest of the years where my students are entering the classroom unprepared and without basic supplies, you have given us a chance to start with everything we need!
So far, every student has multiple pencils and notebooks that they are able to work with on a daily basis. Additionally, the electric pencil sharpener is an asset to our classroom because it minimizes wasteful time sharpening pencils manually throughout the day.
Our classroom is so grateful to be given supplies needed to go about daily classroom activities and routines without interruptions. No one has to worry about not having a notebook to write in or pencil to work with. For this, we thank you again!”

Help to Keep our Classroom Clean!
Funded Aug 4, 2014My students and I are so happy to report that our classroom has been germ-free thanks to your generous donation of cleaning supplies!! We are ecstatic to have paper towels , soap, and facial tissues to manage our everyday needs. Now, we no longer have to scrounge for these items, which would waste valuable class time.
On a daily basis, these cleaning supplies are being used to maintain a clean classroom environment where germs are not being spread. My students are able to wipe their desks after eating breakfast and use a tissue when they sneeze, without having to run to the bathroom! These supplies have greatly diminished trips to the bathroom and/or various classrooms. In turn, increasing time to learn! Thank you so much again for your donation, it will be used wisely!!!!”

Leveled Readers for Struggling Learners
Funded Mar 23, 2013Thank you again for the wonderful resources you have provided for my students. We have been utilizing the books within a literacy center on a daily basis! The variety of genres that are comprised of each book bin has gotten the students excited to read.
I often find them gravitating towards our new supplies rather than becoming restless during buddy reading or independent reading. Having these supplies has made my students appreciate the variety of books that exist and in turn, they are more eager to explore other types of books!
We are so grateful for your kind contribution and it will be used for years to come.”
With gratitude,
Ms. Park
