The books in this project will help expand our classroom library. Students will be able to use them to do research on cooking methods, baking skills, and cuisine types. I hope to use these books to help inspire kitchen labs and exploration of styles of food. Every book that is placed in my library is treated with love and care, and we are thankful for the opportunities to expand my students pallets. All of these books have been chosen with my students in mind. I have a great diversity of students in my class and I want our culinary library to be the same. I chose books written by people of color. I chose books by people that love and share the amazing cuisine of Louisiana. I also chose books that could be used as reference material to accompany our class textbooks.
