Students at my school come without pencils, paper, folders, and other supplies regularly. My students are faced with a generational deficiency of skills necessary for basic learning. Many of their parents were not successful in school and do not know how to foster academic growth in their children. The students want to learn, but many do not know what they need to do in order to learn. Many of my students have short attention spans and lack stamina. Many lack confidence as well. I am designing a Technology Rich Classroom giving my students 1:1 individual instruction using Chromebooks.
