  • Explore Through Play

    Funded Dec 19, 2023

Thank you LOFT for fully contributing to our class. Our students are so excited and can't wait to get to school to play with their new toys. These toys have impacted students communication skills, students are talking more as they play with their peers. They are collaborating as the build structures in the block area and play in the dollhouse center. They are building their fine motor skills as they manipulate the toys they play with. LOFT you have made a contribution that will last a lifetime..”

    With gratitude,

    Ms. Roche

  • Bring Books to Life!

    Funded Dec 4, 2017

As I write this letter, I cannot find the words to describe the gratitude for your generous donations. The resource you have provided for our class will always be very much appreciated. You have sincerely brought our Books to Life! My students look forward to the listening center time and time again. You have opened the door too many students who struggle with reading, and sometimes feel intimidated to pick up a book. Now, they quickly transition to the Listening Center and enthusiastically begin to work. They simple put in the CD that corresponds to their book and begin to read. Day after day, I notice students begin to develop more oral and comprehension skills as they practice reading their books. In addition, the amount of time spend in the listening center has built reading stamina in some of my students. In addition, their vocabulary skills are developing and I have notice them making connections into other subjects in our class, which makes this experience so much more valuable. Thank you for helping me create this literacy center that will be available to students year after year.

On behave of my class and myself, I want you to know that we truly cherish your generosity.”

    With gratitude,

    Ms. Roche
