Sitting still is HARD! Elementary students, especially those with ADHD, autism, and even academic anxiety, have a difficult time sitting still to complete their classwork. These kiddos are often wiggly and full of energy and ooooooh so stinkin' cute and then we ask them to sit their little tushies down in a hard, stationary chair, and get to work. Hmmm.. I wonder why they're acting out by refusing to complete work or completely shutting down? I mean, can you blame them? If I'm being honest here, why in the world should I expect my kids to sit still when I can't even sit still myself?! With these new Wobble Stools, my students will be given the opportunity to move their bodies while they work in my classroom. This will allow them to show their best while minimizing frustration and gaining confidence as little learners. How awesome is that?!
