We Love to Read, Read, Read!
Funded Mar 19, 2012Thank you for the amazing gift of books for our literacy center! The students really do love to read, read, read the stories over and over again. They enjoy the books so much so that we've set rules for the literacy center so that every child has the opportunity to listen and read-along to books daily. The students monitor the center so no one monopolizes it. This is quite amazing to witness!
Your generosity has opened up a whole new world for my students. Exposure to a vast number of words and reading numerous books are imminent. I see their confidence growing and vocabulary expanding as they read along with each story. They have improved in reading simple text and recognizing high frequency words. That's an awesome achievement!
Again, thank you! ”

Leap into the Future with LeapFrog Tag Readers
Funded Mar 16, 2012"Reading gives us someplace to go when we have to stay where we are." Mason Cooley
Thank you for the gift of our LeapFrog Tag readers! There are by far the most sought after reading materials each and every day in our classroom. I've seen the benefits of having the LeapTag readers available. They seem to be taken away with every story. All of my students are helping one another by reading together or sharing their favorite books.
They are learning social skills by taking turns with a particular book from this dynamic program. LeapFrog's interactive technology has captured each of my students and provided them with preferred reading resources. This system is so popular and so much fun for the students we need more LeapTag readers and more books! ”

We Need Books For Our LeapFrog Tag Readers!
Funded Mar 16, 2012Thank each of you for your generous donation of Leap Tag books. Each book provides differentiated instruction as well as engages the students with fun interactive stories and activities designed to support their significant needs.
The students absolutely love them and read them continuously throughout the day. They even read them in pairs sharing the experience together. This builds social skills and allows students to help each other read.
Benjamin Franklin once said, "An investment in knowledge always pays the best interest." Your donations invested in current and future students' lives, changing them for the better. ”

If You Give A Kid A Book… Possibilities Are Endless!
Funded Jan 31, 2012Thank you for an awesome literacy center! We've incorporated it into our classroom schedule. Students love listening to beloved books.
We've developed center rules. Each child picks a book they want read. If four students are at the center, possibly four different books are read. Exposure to a vast number of words and reading numerous books are imminent. Improvements have been noted reading simple text and recognizing high frequency words. That's an awe-inspiring achievement!
Again, thank you!
