Our morning meeting materials have been invaluable in our classroom! I am so proud to report that my class has mastered the art of morning meeting so well they THEY LEAD the morning sessions now! Using the materials from your donations, students play an important role each morning in facilitating different aspects such as our class pledge, our expectations, calendar, counting the days in school, and more!
This time together each morning has brought us closer together as a class family and has built on the confidence of each individual learner!
Our "Colors of the World" art materials have been a huge asset to our classroom! We have used them for many different activities such a self-portraits and in doing so, we have been able to converse about what makes people special and different. Our children take very good care of the materials will illustrates how important they are to them. I truly couldn't imagine not having the "Colors of the World" crayons, markers, and colored pencils. They have been so important in ensuring that each child in my diverse group of students feels represented and proud of the skin they are in!
Sending shine and love!”

Thank you for allowing me to start a tradition for my Kindergarten students that will follow them the rest of their years in school! I inscribed each book with a detailed personalized message and can't wait to see the books come back to have the first grade teachers add their messages at the end of this year.
My students will have their personalized book as a keepsake forever! I could not think of a more special way to let each child know that they are important, unique, and cared for.

You donations allowed us to end our Kindergarten year in the most memorable way we could have ever imaged! After one of the most atypical school years in history, having a traditional graduation ceremony helped give us a sense of normalcy that we desperately needed!
Our students looked so precious in their beautiful blue caps and gowns and the best part was... they were beaming with pride! Our ceremony was the perfect culminating event and I sent them off to first grade with tears in my eyes and priceless memories in my heart!
Thank you so much!

My children have been deeply impacted by the literature that you helped us add to our classroom library! The texts that were added have powerful messages with characters that students can identify with. Just the other day a student who was reading a book was empowered and pointed at the illustration and said "I can do that too?"
There is no doubt that by having a variety of texts available to them, they are not just becoming better readers but they are also developing their sense of self and envisioning a bright future.
You contribution has made a big impact. Many thanks!

As part of the two screens for teachers campaign, having a second screen added to our virtual learning routine was a total game changer! This helped me better serve my students by utilizing technology to its fullest! By having a second screen, I was able to engage students better by adding interactive elements to our existing curriculum. I was also able to see all of my students at the same time to maximize on their engagement and learning. This not only helped us to optimize our virtual learning experience this year, but will be useful in a myriad of ways when we return to a more traditional learning format next year as well!
Sending shine and love!”

Kindergarten is a special chapter and the magic that the year holds is unmatched. We have embarked on an incredible journey and it wouldn't be the same without you! Thank you for being here on this heart-centered journey with us!
Our classroom mantra is “Everything we do is rooted in heart.” Throughout the day, we ground our actions in our mantra and it is a powerful guiding force.
Kindergarteners are capable of SO much! In our classroom:
Students fulfill a number of different important jobs throughout the day.
We often vote to make classroom decisions.
Students are given choices about their own learning.
This is not a classroom of 1 leader and 20 followers, rather, in our classroom there are 21 family members with an equal voice!
When students are given ownership they learn “I am trusted, I am important, I belong here.”
