My classroom is hands-on and we like to play many games to make learning a fun experience! My school services low income students from all backgrounds. The main item that we wish for is a large area rug that is a 120 chart. This will allow us to play many math games and get their bodies moving! Other items included in our list are math manipulatives, items that make teaching math more visual. This approach is necessary as most students are visual learners and math cannot be just pencil and paper. My goal is to have math fluent students at the end of the year!
