  • Math Matters

    First of all many thanks for your generosity and support. It is because of kind souls such as yourself that teachers are able to have the tools necessary to make our job more rewarding.

    When my students first saw all the boxes they were so excited to open all our items together and put them on our supply shelves. Thanks to your generosity, we have a few new seats to comfortably sit on our rug and work small groups or partner work with our new white board accessories while using our laptops. We have been able to complete our classroom duties more efficiently thanks to your generous donations of notebooks and folders.”

We have been able to work together in groups with peer to peer work as well as peer to teacher groups. We are having fun while learning and this has made our classroom more successful.     My students and I are really enjoying our new centers and bean bag chairs. We are loving how comfortable we feel in our reading nook which in turn is encouraging our students to read more.

    When our materials first arrived, my students could hardly contain their excitement. I open each box individually and showed off our new centers. They could not wait to have their first center with the new games. Having these resources allows the teacher to differentiate in various ways. Our students are hands on learners and having these fun and engaging centers really peaks their interest and activates learning.

    We want to thank you so much for your generous donations We use the centers and bean bags chairs daily for reading and individual and group center time. The students have been so excited and thankful to have fun and educational things to do. This allowed me as the teacher to make learning more interactive and fun. I cannot express how grateful we are!!

Within my classroom, we have approximately 30 students. 95% of my students are below the poverty level. I love to see the excitement on their faces when they are able to have center time because this allows learning to be both interactive and fun. Many of my students do not own books or educational games to have such experiences outside of the classroom.
