These Whisper phones will add tremendously to my guided reading groups and when reading to self. Students will be able to read into these phones and hear themselves read. My students will be able to get instant feedback and make the necessary adjustments to improve their pronunciation and fluency. Students will also experience an uninterrupted reading time when using these Whisper Phones. With these Whisper Phones and Novels, my students will be able to improve their reading skills and discuss with fellow classmates what they have read. These books, Hatchet and Holes to name a few, will enhance guided reading groups in my fourth-grade classroom. My guided reading groups is an engaging reading atmosphere where students are exposed to enriching literature.
