  • Mindful Little Yogis in Washington Heights!

    Thank you Kindly for you donation to the Mindful Little Yogi's fund, students received their child-sized colorful yoga mats and have been enjoying practicing mindfulness on them after a hectic day at school. They each got to open one together and test them out, the pictures speak for themselves on the impact made on the students.

    The singing bowl has also been a wonderful addition to the Afterschool Little Yogis club as well as the daily classroom, it has such a calming effect on students after a busy recess time running around outside.”

  • Out-of-This-World Learning!

    Thank you for your support in funding this project for flexible seating, my students and I appreciate your donations because they now have more options for exploring space through playtime. This helps all types of learners access the curriculum in a fun way, because play is the work of children and it leaves impactful memories about outer space! Students played astronaut, built a space shuttle with legos and learned the names of the planets by collaborating to solve a large floor puzzle of planets.”

  • Flexible Seating for Wiggly Learners

    Funded Dec 4, 2024

    Thank you for your support in funding this project for flexible seating, my students and I appreciate your donations because they now have more options for seating. This helps all types of learners access the curriculum, because some students need to move more during lessons on the rug. My students like sitting most on the wobbly tall cushions, they use them during math, reading, book clubs, and while they play. The multipurpose element of these seats is wonderful, again my students and I thank you!”
