  • Create and Share with a MacBook Air

    Funded May 14, 2019

Talk about excitement! Once we received that MacBook Air we could not wait for the fun to begin. The rapid growth in technology in our society today makes it necessary for even our youngest learners to become tech savvy.

My students are so excited about school and learning when I bring the curriculum to them through technology. Students rely on visuals to make connection in learning. The colors, animations and sounds works to motivate my young learners. This MacBook Air has allowed us to access current sites and applications that will support our literacy curriculum. The students enjoy using with partners during literacy centers, iReady and imagine learning.

We are amazed at all the neat things you can do with a MacBook Air and look forward to using it in years to come. We appreciate your kindness and THANK YOU from the bottom of our hearts.”

    With gratitude,

    Ms. Smith

  • It's Tablet Time!

    Funded Jul 31, 2018

I can not express how appreciative I am that you all have helped my students become better and stronger learners. The tablets you have sent my students have helped them in countless ways. I am able to target each child's needs and address them with fun and interactive games. The apps we use include: Reading A to Z, Brain POP, Starfall, and much more. This has helped my students to become independent in their learning. All of my students are able to use the tablets and either reinforce what is being taught in class or help enrich and push students to the next level.

It is great to see that you share my vision for reaching children through technology. I am excited to continue to find new and exciting ways to use technology in the classroom. Thank you again for all your help, I could never say thank you enough times!!”

    With gratitude,

    Ms. Smith

  • Listen Up! We need a new Listening Center

    Funded Jan 25, 2018

Thank you for your generous donations to help fund out listening center. Your commitment supporting education is highly appreciated.

Thanks to donors like you, our classroom embraces the active learning needs of many students who are audio learners; and for many who are not exposed to interactive stories.

Your donation will be used in a classroom for many years to come. The children are excited to sit with their wireless headphones and listen to songs, poems, riddles, fables, and so much more. The listening center in Kindergarten is an essential part of fulfilling the academic needs and development of all children and their visual as well as audio needs.

Again, thank you for all you do for Education.”

  • Listening Center Fun!

    Funded Dec 27, 2017

Thank you so much for your generous contribution to our classroom! The books on CD have been an amazing addition to our classroom. My students don't always have the support or resources at home so these books allow them more opportunities to hear language and literature to enrich their lives and learning.

The day our books and Cd's arrived and we got to dig into the box, excitement filled the room! Each student got to pull a book from the box and share it with the class. It was so wonderful to see a room of Kindergartners get excited about books and reading. Reading has such an impact on their lives; now and in the future.

When I ordered the books on Cd's, I tried to make sure that I fulfilled our classroom needs and students interest. I was able to select books from series they liked, and books that will help build their vocabulary and language! Books like, Miss Nelson is Missing,Curious George, and Brave Irene are books that every classroom needs! I also got a large variety of nursery rhyme and fairy tale books, that our classroom library was lacking.

I love seeing my students learn. I am so thankful that you made a contribution to my classroom so I can experience moments like these. This week, I have had 5 or more students tell me that they love going to the listening center and hearing new stories! I love hearing those words! I know they spoke those words because they have such a wonderful selection of books on Cd's to explore!"”

  • Chair Pockets For Kindergarten

    Funded Mar 9, 2016

Before we received our class set of chair pockets, my students were feeling extremely cluttered. The day I found out that our project was funded I couldn't wait to tell my students. When the class heard the good news they were so excited. They would ask everyday if we received them in the mail.

When our chair pockets finally arrived, they were ecstatic. We celebrated BIG time! They were so proud. They went on and on about how much easier it was to learn, how cool they looked, and how special they were to have them They were so excited to have a place to put their pencils boxes, workbooks, independent reading books and assignments.

Having these chair pockets has saved so much time and has provided the students and way to keep them organized. I cannot thank each and every one of you enough. Thank you so much again for your giving, and for helping to teach my students to be givers!”

  • A Carpet Place For All!

    Funded Jan 21, 2015

Thank you for your generous donations to my classroom. Your support helped provide a learning environment my students deserve. My students and I absolutely love our new classroom carpet. It has added lots of warmth and comfort to our classroom especially during our read alouds, yoga and independent reading.

We love that each student has a spot of their own and they can sit in comfort and ease while listening to their favorite story, singing along to our morning songs and calendar activities.

We are truly grateful and appreciative of your contributions to our classroom.

    Sincerely,

    Ms. Smith”
