  • It's Reading TIME!

    Funded Aug 29, 2014

Thank you so much for contributing to our classroom project! My class absolutely love their TIME for kids magazines. We received our first package which included all the magazines for the month of October. The first issue was about Schools around the world, my class was very interested. I was thrilled knowing that they got hooked after only their first issue. They liked the color pictures, being able to write on them, and most of all taking them home! We can't wait to see what the other months have in store for us; very excited.

Your support is very much appreciated, thanks!”

    With gratitude,

    Mrs. Andrade

  • I am an Author!

    Funded Sep 15, 2014

Thank you for fully funding our classroom project! We just had our first Authors' Celebration, my students are officially authors! Thanks to your donation we received markers which they used to make their illustrations pop. They were able to choose what color their book covers were going to be because we received many packs of different colored paper. The big lined chart paper let's me model different writing skills and the white chart paper let's me create big posters that they use to refer back to while writing. Our writing center is a whole lot better thanks to you!”

    With gratitude,

    Mrs. Andrade

  • Let's Spark Creativity!

    Funded Sep 10, 2014

Thank you, thank you, thank you! I cannot express how much my students love building and creating with Play-Doh! "Play-Doh time is the funnest time" my students say. My students have no idea that they are learning as they are playing. They are working on their fine motor skills as they use their fingers to pinch, roll, and mold. My students penmanship has improved so much due to the Play-Doh. Their letter formation and pencil gripping has made a difference when it comes to Writer's Workshop.

We are currently going through a budget crisis, so without your help, my students would not be able to have access to these materials. Thank you once again for all you've done! Thank you for your kindness and support!!”

    With gratitude,

    Mrs. Andrade

  • Technology Center Complete part 2

    Funded Apr 19, 2014

Thank you so much for donating to our class. We absolutely love our new iPad mini! The class was so excited when we got the package, they couldn't wait to open it; they wanted me to install the apps that we use right away! I would love to say that our center is now complete but part one of this project was not successful. I will try again because my students love to use the technology and deserve to have access to it.

Your donations have made a positive impact in our class. I cannot wait to show my new kidergartners the tablets that I have for them to use...how exciting!”

    With gratitude,

    Mrs. Andrade

  • Getting Active-Staying Active!

    Funded Jan 23, 2014

Thank you so much for your generous donation! This project has brought life back into our play time. My kindergarterns are enjoying playing baseball with the fat ball and bat; it makes a big diffrence. The hopscotch carpet has brought color and fun into our classroom, the activitiy mats have kept us active both in and out of the class. It's so much fun to play catch with the ball toss; the velcro really helps the kids out a lot! My class is really enjoying the hoola hoops and ring toss too.

This project is really helping keep us active and I'm sure will continue to stay active, thank you once again!”

  • Let's Get Moving!

    Funded Jan 27, 2014

Thank you all for your kind and generous donations! This project is definetly getting us moving and keeping active. My students love to play with a real basketball, football, soccer ball, and kickball; they are even forming teams! Before we only had the rubber handballs and just the diffrence in balls caused excitment. It is so convinient to have a ball inflator in class, we no longer need to put ball away because they ran out of air, and the more ball available to more students are playinig. They have also enjoyed jumping with our new jumpropes and tossing the bean bags into the bean bag toss.

Thank you helping us stay active.”

  • Every Song Skips a Beat!

    Funded Dec 15, 2013

Thank you so much for your generous donations! We absolutely love our new radio! We can enjoy our morning music once again. Kindergarten is just not the same without music. We also use it to listen to stories on CD's.

With it's newer technology I am able to plug in aux cord that works wonderful with a cell phone; we can listen to music from all parts of the world through Pandora. It's so wonderful to be able to play many different types of music for my students to appreciate and enjoy. I am also able to plug in our iPads, I find many of the folktales I read to the class on youtube and they really enjoy listening to them through different voices and animation.

Your donations have really made a positive impact in my class, thank you!”

    With gratitude,

    Mrs. Andrade

  • Say What?!

    Funded Nov 6, 2013

Thank you all for your kind donations. This project has really helped my class. We can finally hear the classroom computer! We didn't have speakers for it before, we could only hear it through headphones which was only good for one student at a time. But now students are able to share it and it has been great! We also have speakers for our projector now, makes it a whole lot easier for the entire class to hear.

Most of our classroom devices are protected now! The covers will help us preserve our technology for current and future students to use.

Your contributions are very much appreciated!”

    With gratitude,

    Mrs. Andrade

  • Creating a Multicultural Center!

    Funded Jul 5, 2013

When we started the school year my students were greeted with an inviting classroom environment! The library center was a favorite because of the beanbag chairs that surrounded it. They were very eager to open a book just to have a chance to sit on them.

The multicultural materials that we received are great! My students love to play with the puzzles that show diffrent holidays that are celebrated throughout the world. The books allow them to make connections to people around our world too.

Thank you again for considering our classroom when making your donation. You have made 24 children very happy.”

    With gratitude,

  • Small Things Make Big Differences!

    Funded Sep 10, 2013

Wow, were my students excited when these boxes arrived! The smiles on their faces were huge as well as the loud cheer that followed after the opening of every box.

These materials really made a big diffrence in my class. We are able to use our whiteboards because now we have markers! Our puzzles and puppets are easy to acccess and make our classroom environment nicer. The reading and math games are spread out in diffrent centers and my studetns are able to use them daily during small group time.

My students are benefitting from these materials because they are able to practice what we've learned through fun and exciting games and activities.

Thank you once again for helping us fund this project!”
