I teach in an Multi Intensive-Severe Special Education classroom in Denver, Colorado. I have nine in my classroom that are always eager to learn. This inclusive based model classroom allows for my students to be with their peers a few hours a day, but literacy, life skills, and math are taught in my class. We are an Expeditionary School, which is a researched based technique, proven to support active engagement of students with one another and the world around them.
