  • Restock, Refresh, Rewards

    Funded Mar 26, 2025

Thank you so much for your gift! What a great surprise during Spring Break!

I look forward to getting the items and sharing them with the students.

Because of donors like you, my students get a classroom that is organized and welcoming.

Again, thank you for supporting my students and classroom!”

    With gratitude,

    Ms. Menendez

  • New School Year, Who's This?

    Funded Sep 18, 2024

Thank you so much for your gift. It has been a difficult school year so far, but they students and I are all doing our best to get through it all.

Your gift allowed me to set up a binder system that seems to be working really well for many of my students.

The pencil pouches help them keep their supplies organized and the binders help the keep their work organized. It really has been a great system so far.

Although initially, we liked the contact paper on the tables, we found they started to peel away and it was too difficult to keep them from getting distracted. So, I'm looking for other ways to utilize the remaining contact paper.

Finally, the TPT gift card helped me make fun binder covers for them all, and incentive sheets for their stickers.

    Thank you again for everthing!”

    With gratitude,

    Ms. Menendez

  • Refresh, Renew, Restock

    Funded May 16, 2024

Thank you so much for this gift. I have been utilizing the binders for my students this year, and so far, it's been going very well.

The pencil pouches contain all their needed supplies and there is no more, "I don't have ..." and no arguments about someone else having their stuff. This is win-win in my book!

With the Teachers Pay Teachers gift card, I have been able to find really nice worksheets and additional work for the students to practice their much-needed skills. And, we are just starting to get a hang of how to use the dot markers properly.

I'm in the process of changing over the welcome board in my classroom and the little passport nametags are going to be so adorable on our new, "Adventure Awaits" board. The students love looking for their names.

Also, thank you for the disinfecting wipes and tissues - we go through those a lot!”

  • So Fresh And So Clean

    Funded Sep 20, 2023

Thanks to your donation, our classroom has been organized and clean throughout the school year. Keeping the students healthy and happy while learning is really important to me.

One of the best things to keep this small classroom organized has been putting smaller activities in the photo holder containers. The kids have even memorized which color container their favorite math and reading games are in. It has kept the classroom clean and we haven't lost any pieces of games - a HUGE win for us!

Thank you again for your generosity.”

  • Let's Wet Our Plants!

    Funded Feb 28, 2024

I can't tell you how awesome this project was for my students, my fellow staff and some of the volunteers at our school.

Not only did the students get super excited to hand out the plants to everyone, but each person who we stopped to greet and share a little kindness had a huge smile on their face. Even when we had given away plants to everyone, the following days, they kept asking if we were going to deliver more plants.

Several of the teachers expressed how much a small gesture like this was for them. I know it made a huge impact on my students - who still talk about it almost a month later.

Thank you for allowing my students to spread a little green, a little kindness and a lot of smiles to our school community.”

  • Stick It to 'Em

    Funded Nov 28, 2023

    Thank you for your donation.

My students are very motivated this year and these incentives will help me continue to reward them for working hard.

It may not seem like a lot, but a simple sticker, pencil or fun note really goes a long way with my little learners.

    Again, thank you so much.”

  • A Little Of This, A Little Of That

    Funded Apr 6, 2023

Thank you for your gift. These items have really made our classroom brighter, more fun and have given us more organization - which is really needed for my students.

The students LOVE to earn these stickers - every group wants to work hard to get one of these cute stickers to take back to class. It really is amazing how something so small and simple can motivate my students.

Having headphones in my room has made it easier when they travel to/from my classroom. It allows them to focus on just carefully bringing their Chromebook and not have to worry about the headphones falling, or them tripping on the cords.

Finally, the students love seeing their names when I make new boards and they especially loved these light bulbs.

Thank you again for your gift.”

  • Our World Is Beautiful

    Funded May 14, 2023

Thank you for your gift of these amazing books about diversity. My students are predominantly Latino, but they love to learn about students who may not look the same as they do. After reading to them, we often find things in the stories that they feel are very similar to themselves, and how we differ.

In the end, they realize that we have more in common with others than they may have thought.

However, the best item we have been using from this project are the Crayola "Colors of the World" crayons. My students LOVE them. They use the sides of the box to see what "color" they are, and for many of them - it is super excited to see their drawings or coloring pages reflect THEM. They have even come to call them the "Special" crayons, which I love. They are special, just like my students who get such a great joy out of using them.

Again, thank you so much for these items.”

  • In Life You Need Colors

    Funded May 9, 2023

Thank you so much for your gift. Although this was from the end of last school year, I have really been able to continue utilizing many of the items this year as well - which has been wonderful.

One of the items I requested was the book "Just Help," written by Sonia Sotomayor. Not only did we get the book, we got an autographed copy! What an terrific experience for all of us. When my students saw it, they were excited to learn more about her and we spent a day watching videos and reading more about her. Considering my students are predominantly Latino, it was extra special for us.

Thank you for the continued gifts you supply for my classroom and the students.”

  • Here Comes Summer

    Funded Jun 8, 2023

Thank you for your gift. It allowed me to have a great summer with my students and it has carried over into the new school year.

The students loved playing the games and really enjoyed earning the "sniffy" stickers.

It was easy to make fun weekly posters for them with the markers and the monkey name tags made them laugh daily. They would search out their own and their friends' names often.

This summer experience was a new one for me, but having some fun stuff to bring the them made it easier to make my classroom "ours."

    Thank you so much.”
