Science and Literacy Through Spanish Books

Funded Aug 22, 2022

The students are learning and discovering new content thanks to your donations. Each class has books in Spanish related to Science topics, and the students have enriched their vocabulary words and mastered new skills.

The students were very excited to learn about the role of earthworms in the soil. They observed the earthworms and read the books (fiction and non-fiction), enriching their Spanish language literacy skills.

In addition, I developed a series of lessons related to water on planet Earth and water conservation. Some of the books were instrumental for the students helping them to understand the importance of natural resources. I want to mention that the younger students have learned the name of all the vegetables in Spanish. We continue using the instructional material. Thank you on behalf of my dear students. We are grateful for your donation.”

With gratitude,
