We have received our awesome donations and have already started using most of them. The kids are really loving being able to find foods for our recipes by opening the refrigerator! They are equally excited to learn how to use the microwave which we will do when we melt butter for baking brownies and learn to make popcorn independently.

We have also been using our maintenance carriers to lug around wipes and cleaners to keep our classroom sparkling. We are practicing important skills such as wiping down our desks, sweeping with our new broom and cleaning up any messes we make.

The games have also been a big hit! They don't even know that they're learning while playing!

We will continue to use all these products to help us learn more independent living skills. They have made the classroom seem like a little apartment which helps the kids to transfer their skills from school to home. Thank you again all so much for your generous donations in making this happen!”
