  • Charge It Up!

    Funded Sep 21, 2022

I am so grateful for your generosity to my students. They are an amazing group of learners whom absolutely have been flourishing in the classroom thanks to your kindness. They have worn many technological hats. They utilize their chrome books on a daily basis and in all subject areas. When they first come in, they work on various online platforms to build their mathematical academic language and fluency of basic facts, They log into google classroom to view assignments and resources. They have been researching and actively using online sites to gather information for their animal adaptations project . Your kindness allowed us to organize our learning space for students to have easy access to their technology. Thank you for all you have done!”

    With gratitude,

    Mrs. Lopes

  • Summer Fun Distance Learning

    Funded May 6, 2020

Thank you so much for the generous donations. My students were able to end their very difficult fifth grade year of distance learning on a wonderful note. The mindfulness journals provided an avenue for them to express their social emotional needs. The white boards provided a necessary tool in all academic subjects to express in writing their thoughts and answers. The 365 Days of Wonder provided them with an uplifting tool of positive messages and words to live by each day of the year. Thank you again for your continued support and help to get this project funded!”

  • Eureka! Let's Explore Science!

    Funded Aug 17, 2019

You truly have impacted my classroom on so many levels. You have contributed to foster a love of Science for my students. When the students get their monthly Science magazine, they are so excited to dive into the reading of the content. They have been learning about habitats from the magazine and it has connected to the Next Generation Science standards perfectly. We are currently learning about Space Systems. Under this umbrellas falls, gravity, constellations, and the sun. There was an article in September's issue that highlighted zero gravity. Your generous donation provided real world application with content we are learning in class. Thank you so much for your generosity and thank you for providing my student with this wonderful Science magazine!”

  • Mindful Listening

    Funded Mar 28, 2019

Thank you so much for funding this project. Your generosity could not have come at a better time! The impact of your donations will aid many children during our state testing coming up in the coming weeks. The children will be able to use the headphones during chrome book time to truly practice mindful listening. Mindful listening enables the children to focus on the task at hand. This will help enhance their personalized learning and allow ALL children to reach their fullest academic potential. Thank you again for your kindness!”

  • Learning in Comfort

    Funded Dec 18, 2016

Thank you so much for helping make our classroom complete. My students were really surprised when they came back from break to find the beautiful rug. We use the rug daily and several times throughout the day. We use it for our community meeting. We use it when we practice our mindfulness in the classroom. The children read on the rug. Just last week we used the rug in Math when I was teaching coordinate graphing! Each student has a their own spot too!Thank you again for the learning equipment for our classroom.”

  • Teaching with Technology

    Funded Dec 31, 2012

I am deeply humbled at the generousity of my donors. In a world filled with chaos, it is a breath of fresh air to have people such as yourselves believe that education is the key. Your donation has enabled me to spark my students' interests in literacy, with ebooks, on the NOOK. Your donation has allowed me to introduce Math games that build fluency of basic facts for my students. Your donation has given me the opportunity to build a stronger home school connection because each of my studnets have had the opporuntiy to bring the NOOKs home and share this gift of technology with their family. This is just a small token of my appreciation for your generousity. I greatly appreciate your donation. The gift of technology you have given my students is amazing.”

    With gratitude,

    Mrs. Lopes
