• We like to Write It, Write It!

  Thank you so much for your generosity! The students were so excited to have personal writing journals that we can use in our guided reading groups. We use these journals each day after we read together. Sometimes we practice writing sight words. Sometimes we write new sentences to practice stretching out our words and sounds. Sometimes we will create diagrams and practice labeling. These journals will allow students to see a progression as we grow as writers. At the end of the year students will be amazed at how far they have come in Kindergarten!”

• Building Relationships WHILE Social Distancing AND having FUN!

  Thank you so much for donating to our classroom project. The students have been so excited to use these items in their learning centers throughout our day. During COVID, it's been wonderful to have enough learning centers for each student to use throughout our day!

  Students have also enjoyed painting in one of the learning centers. They have been painting sight words and practicing writing their names and creating drawings for family members or friends. Thanks so much for supporting our classroom and students during this time!”

• Wobble, Students, Wobble

  Funded Dec 10, 2019

  Thank you so much for supporting our classroom with your generous donation. We have been using our Wobble Stools now for about a month and students can't get enough of them! Students are better able to focus on their task at hand and get out their wiggles without distracting other students in the classroom. We use the stools in all parts of our day, including reading and test-taking times. These stools are the perfect addition to our classroom and we couldn't be more grateful. Thanks so much for all you do to support us, you are just the best!”

• Diverse Books for Diverse Minds

  Thank you so much for donating to our project! The students have loved reading through all of the books. So many of my students have been able to relate to the characters in the stories and are able to make better connections to the lessons in the stories as well. You have helped to brighten the lives of many third grade students. They are eager to read a new story each morning and are eager to share their connections with their classmates. Students are also becoming leaders after reading the stories about all of these famous people who have grown up to do wonderful things! It's great! Thanks again!”

• Osmos for All!

  Thank you so much for taking the time to donate to our Osmo Project! The students have loved using the devices in the classroom. We have been using them during math in small groups to help struggling students work on number sense and addition. We have also been using them during math to work on spatial reasoning skills. The Tanagrams are a hit! Students love making different designs out of the shapes. The word building game is also a favorite in the classroom. Students are able to challenge one another on the iPad Mini's and they really engage in spelling practice. Thanks so much for your generosity!”

• Easels for Engagement!

  Thank you so much for generously donating to our project! We have loved using the whiteboard throughout our day. We use it a lot during literacy. We have placed it near our reading carpet and now we can hang our interactive reading charts on the board and refer to them during our lessons. We also love to place our thinking post-it notes on the board! Another great feature of the white board is that it is mobile! We move it around the room as our teaching and learning moves. It has been such a great asset to our classroom this year!”

• Pump Up the Ink, Pump It Up!

  Thank you so much for donating to our classroom. We were in desperate need of ink and paper and having this project funded has been an enormous relief! Students no longer have to waste time by copying everything off from the board and are able to work with materials more efficiently.

  When the materials arrived, students were very excited to have the resources we needed to finish off the year! We have been able to print off reading comprehension passages and have more materials to use during writers workshop and math.”

• iPad Mini And Apple TV For Our Mathematicians

  Thank you so much for all of your support with this project. Students have been using the iPad mini and Apple TV daily to enhance their learning. Students are able to share projects with the entire class and provide feedback using the iPad and Apple TV. Classroom engagement levels have risen as well. More students are interested in learning when they have the goal of presenting to the classroom.

  Students have also learned the art of collaboration and are able to share things on Google Drive between classmates, creating shared projects.
