  • Warm Winter Reading

    Funded Dec 30, 2022

Our students were thrilled to receive multiple boxes of snack items this year! We have gone through about half of the items at this point and it is so nice to be able to offer students a snack after working hard in class!

Our snack bin gets filled up each week and the kiddos love choosing something to eat after instruction.

Students are often hungry throughout the long school day and are encouraged to grab something for our bin. I am so happy to be able to offer snacks!

Thank you to all the supporters and donations for this project!”

    With gratitude,

  • Games for Group Time

    Funded Sep 20, 2022

Thank you so much for your support for this project! All the games have arrived and we have opened a couple of them already! The students enjoy playing the word games after our lessons. The vocabulary games are helping to build a broad range of vocab words, and it makes learning fun!

The kids look forward to having a few extra minutes to play a game, so far, the favorite is sound hounds! They learn to take turns, cheer each other on, and are learning to form new words with blends and digraphs!

Thank you again for your generosity!”

  • Laminator for Class Centers

    Funded Apr 7, 2022

Thank you so incredibly much for funding this project! The personal laminator has been amazing for my classroom this year. I have used it every week so far for small materials that need laminating. It is a HUGE time saver! My students now have durable posters, charts and visuals at their fingertips!

The laminator is great for so many things we use each day, signs, notes, resources, word walls, just to name a few. I have plenty of sleeves to go with it as well.

I appreciate the support and donations this year!”

Despite teachers' attempts to make learning fun, students are arriving to school tired, hungry and disinterested. They have little or no desire to learn new skills. It is up to educators to help our students discover the wonderful world of learning! The resources I have requested include fun, hands-on activities to help my younger students learn the basics of reading-phonics and sight words. They love to read books, especially Big Books! Corduroy is our favorite and we would love to listen to this old fav on CD. These students are our future leaders and each one has the potential to impact the world, and it all starts in the classroom. Having brand new materials in our class will really keep the students engaged, focused, and enthusiastic towards education! It Takes a Village.......
