These materials can be used at school and at home. The TPT materials will offer stories at the different levels. It is hard to find GOOD texts that are interesting to students at this age that will keep them interested. I have been lucky enough to find an author on TPT that has written great high interest texts for such readers. The books will be used in small groups and they can take them home. I have two volunteers who comes in and work with small groups. We hold discussions, ask questions, have contests etc with the books and the excitement on the student's faces makes it all worth while. The problem is that we are running out of book titles that are age/ level appropriate. As for the science supplies they don't exist. No one knows what happened to them, but in order to teach science the way that it should be taught, we need them. Seeing how things work with hands on experience is the only way to know it.
