My students enjoy learning about new things. We are situated in a lower income neighborhood where the Internet and computers are only available to them in school. Our school has an almost 90% population of second language learners and 93% are eligible for free or reduced lunch. To provide challenging, meaningful, fun, and motivating lessons is a daily task faced by most teachers. This is especially true in 2013. Using technology will help my students maintain that wonder and help them search for the answers to their questions.
