My students and I have loved diving into the book and learning about Reading and everything that goes with it like cause & effect relationships, Author's Purpose, character relationships, Story Elements, and so many more. It makes me so happy to see the spark and light bulb moments with my kids and to be able to share the love of Reading with them.   • Comfy and Cozy Classroom

    We have really enjoyed using our tables and chairs throughout our entire day at school. It is so nice to be able to sit comfortably and not worry about anything breaking or falling apart. Our classroom has done so many projects using our tables and chairs it makes it so hard to just choose just one but I think it would be our PBL Unit when we made solar ovens. The questions I asked the class were, "What is considered healthy food?" and "How can we design a solar oven to create a healthy pizza?" The students were able to work around the room but because they were working in small groups they chose to work at our new tables and it was fantastic because everybody could fit around the table and work.

    I will never forget the first delivery, it was like Christmas in our classroom. They cheered and did rock, paper, scissors to see what group got the tables first. It was so exciting to see the look on their faces.

    We are off to a great start to another school year! I have more students so I need four more chairs and then I would also like to do a project for Math Workshop activities. Thank you so much for your support, I could not have done it without you.”

I do my best work in my green chair, my daughter at the kitchen table, and my son in his bed so why would it be any different in a classroom? I want my students to be comfortable while they learn. I have comfy pillows and bean bag chairs, stools, and even a futon in my classroom so they can sit around the room throughout the day and work on their work in a way that they are most comfortable. I would like some sturdy tables and chairs that they can sit at to do their work either individually or in small groups that I will be able to rely on year after year. When kids feel safe, loved, and are in a comfy and cozy environment MAGIC HAPPENS! To allow freedom and movement throughout the day will ensure that all of these needs are being met.

About my class
