  • Making Math Fun Again Through Guided Math Stations

    Funded Jun 21, 2021

Thank you so much for your generous donations to support my classroom. The items that were purchased proved to be very beneficial for students as they navigate their learning through second grade. It is no surprise that we are seeing learning gaps in our students due to the events of COVID. By providing a more hands-on approach to learning, my students are growing exponentially and are enjoying the lessons in front of them. The smiles on their faces show just how much they are enjoying the tasks at hand, and I look forward to continue to watch them grow this school year.”

    With gratitude,

  • Teaching Supplies Needed in a COVID World

    Funded Sep 4, 2020

Thank you so incredibly much for your kindness and generous donations. Teaching in the middle of a pandemic has changed our methods completely. Our students wear masks quite often throughout the day, and theirs often get dirty or break. With the donation of the disposable masks, students always have the ability to get a fresh one if/when they need it.

We also are unable to share classroom supplies this year. With that being said, many students have run out of our every day items like pencils. By supplying my classroom with extra pencils, as well as a pencil sharpener, students are able to take as they need, as well as sharpen without touching a handle. Same goes with our Expo markers. Several students have dried out markers, so it has been nice to have an extra supply to share with them as they need.

Lastly, the teal polka dot magnetic boarder has brought a nice pop of color to my classroom decor. I also appreciate the wifi booster. This has come in handy during our virtual learning sessions.

Thank you again for your support of my classroom- it is appreciated!”

    With gratitude,

    Mrs. Medley

  • Supply Refill Needed for a Busy 2nd Grade Classroom!

    Funded Jan 15, 2020

Thank you so much for your generous donations to purchase the supplies needed to refill my classroom. The students were so excited to watch the unboxing of the materials, oohing and ahhing over the supplies as I displayed them. Their enthusiasm for learning motivates me to be the best teacher I can, and with the help and support of donors like you, this can all be possible. Thank you again for all of your support- my second graders and I are so appreciative and grateful that you chose to support our classroom with a donation.”

    With gratitude,

  • New School Year, New Supplies Needed

    Funded Jun 27, 2019

Thank you so incredibly much for your generous donations. The students were beyond thrilled when they saw the boxes coming into our classroom. As we opened each one together, I would see them smiling, sharing their excitement about each item with their peers, and clapping after every one.

So far, we have already started utilizing the items. On the first day of school, the students were greeted with beautiful classroom decorations, including fluffed up bean bag chairs, yoga balls, and fish decor. They also had a welcome snack, that was greatly appreciated by many hungry students! Each student has access to brand new pencils, highlighters, scissors, glue, etc, thanks to your donations. Being able to provide those items has been a huge help for students who didn't come with a bunch of supplies.

Overall the students have really been excited for their new donations, and are looking forward to continuing to use them during their year in 2nd grade. Thank you again for being so kind and generous- we truly appreciate your support.”

Thank you so incredibly much for your generous donations. The students were beyond thrilled when they saw the boxes coming into our classroom. As we opened each one together, I would see them smiling, sharing their excitement about each item with their peers, and clapping after every one.

So far, we have already started utilizing the items. cap erasers have been a huge help, since many students have been working hard and in need of one for their writing utensil. Students are also enjoying the pencil cup organizers. Our supply caddy in our classroom is neat and organized because of them.

  • Artsy in Second Grade!

    Funded Dec 14, 2018

Words cannot begin to describe how grateful we all are for the generous donations. Those donations helped to supply us with many new materials. On Friday, students have the opportunity to participate in a Finger Painting center as a reward for good behavior for the week. This center has been a HIT, and the new supplies made that a favorite.

We are also enjoying the use of our envelopes and writing instruments during our friendly letter writing unit. Students had the opportunity to make their letter writing unique and more attractive to the recipient.

Overall, your generous donations purchased many great items for our classroom, which has resparked the excitement and love for learning during our cold, winter months!”

  • New Class, New Materials!

    Funded Jun 22, 2018

Thank you so incredibly much for your generosity and support of my classroom project. Students will be so excited to see their newly decorated classroom in their ocean theme. I am thrilled to add new seating to the classroom, too. The partner desks will be perfect during class time, too.

Although it is summer break, I am sure the excitement from the students during the first few days will be electrifying! I am so grateful to welcome them to our classroom by providing goldfish cracker treats, and sweetish fish candies. They will enjoy their themed snacks while learning.

In closing, thank you again so incredibly much for your support... we truly appreciate it!”

  • Putting Life Back into Run Down Seats and Supplies

    Funded Mar 27, 2018

Words cannot express how grateful I am for your kindness and generosity! It was such a surprise to see my project of classroom supplies fully funded in less than a month. As the year comes to an end, my students are often in need of a supply refill. The pencils, stickers, and erasers have already been shared with my students.

I am super excited to be able to change my classroom theme next year to an ocean theme. It has been years since I have been able to do that, and with your generosity, I am able to provide a fresh new look in my classroom.

Thank you again for your monetary donations to support my classroom- the students were so excited to see the new items as they were delivered.”

  • Bouncing to the End of the Year!

    Funded Mar 14, 2018

Thank you so incredibly much for your generous and kind monetary donations to fully fund my project. The students are truly enjoying the new seating choices. The biggest impact that the seats have in my classroom is that my students are able to bounce and wobble their wiggles away as they work. Our new writing instruments and papers have come in handy with our recent measurement activities, as well as for our animal research and upcoming field trip.

Thank you again for helping support my second grader's education... They are a wonderful group of kids and they are so appreciative of what they have received!”

    With gratitude,

    Mrs. Medley
