This classroom project was brought to life by An Anonymous Supporter and 2 other donors.Comfy, Cozy Counselor's Office
Funded May 8, 2024Donating items to a school counseling program has a profound impact on both students and the overall learning environment. These contributions, whether school supplies, books, or materials for emotional wellness, directly support the mental and emotional health of students. By equipping counselors with additional resources, schools are better able to provide targeted interventions for students facing challenges, such as anxiety, bullying, or academic stress. As a result, students gain access to tools and materials that foster self-regulation, resilience, and positive decision-making, creating a safer and more supportive school atmosphere.
Furthermore, the generosity shown through these donations can also strengthen the connection between the community and the school. Families and students feel more supported when they see the active involvement of community members in their educational journey. The enhanced capacity of school counselors to address individual and group needs promotes a culture of care and inclusivity. This not only helps improve student outcomes academically but also nurtures emotional well-being, ensuring students thrive both inside and outside the classroom.”

This classroom project was brought to life by Valhalla Foundation.A Sweet and Savory Surprise for Students!
Funded Mar 28, 2024Your generous donation has played a pivotal role in enhancing the daily lives of elementary students by providing nutritious snacks that support their energy and focus throughout the school day. By ensuring that students have access to healthy, balanced snacks, we have helped reduce hunger and improve concentration in the classroom. Teachers have reported that students are more attentive and engaged in learning after receiving their snacks, contributing to better academic performance and overall well-being. This donation not only addresses immediate nutritional needs but also fosters healthy eating habits in young learners, setting them up for long-term success.
Moreover, this program has built a sense of community within the school, as teachers, staff, and volunteers work together to support students' growth and development. Parents have expressed appreciation for the added layer of care and attention their children receive, while the students themselves feel more energized and ready to tackle the challenges of the day. By providing a simple yet impactful solution, we are making a positive difference in students' educational experiences and creating a foundation for healthier, more productive school environments. Thank you so much!”

Picking Up the Pieces With Counseling!
Funded Mar 11, 2024This project has helped my students out with problem solving and being patient. My students often have a difficult time with maintaining their patience and they often don't know how to express their frustration. While playing with puzzles it helps them to slow down and really think about their emotions and feelings.
I thank you all again for allowing this project to come true for my students. Having toys and other fidgets most definitely helps my student everyday. We are forever gracious for this amazing opportunity.”

Getting Students Energized About Engagement!
Funded Nov 29, 2023I am so grateful for the donation for my last project. Being a school counselor to elementary students is an extremely rewarding job, and with your donations I can really expand on my engagement with them. My background in education started off with secondary where most of the students weren't into engaging games and fun manipulatives, so it is so exciting seeing my young elementary scholars still enjoying them.
It means the world to us that you were able to do this. Because of you, we can continue to engage with our Title 1 students, and provide them with a loving and nurturing environment to grow positively in. We are so lucky to have you as a donor. Again, I thank you for investing in our project and in the students I serve. Your generous gift will go to good use for years to come.”

This classroom project was brought to life by The DonorsChoose Community and one other donor.Minds Over Matter!
Funded Feb 11, 2023This project has helped my students tremendously. I was looking for tools they could use that gave them comfort and confidence while speaking to me about hard topics. The manipulatives that were donated became excellent resources for small groups and individual sessions. My students love the items! I leave some items out for them to grab while we chat or I'll bring others out to help get the ball rolling. I am truly honored and grateful that you helped fund this project. This will encourage my students now and in the future!”

Nacho Average Attendace
Funded Oct 14, 2022My students really appreciated the gifts that were donated. They were distributed this month (november) for being able to keep up with their attendance in the month of October. The prizes went out to each class room who were able to come to school majority of the month. This was completed in September and October and we were definitley able to see a raise in our attedance. My students really seemed to appreciate the gifts and they were even saying they hoped they'd get a prize next month too. Thank you again for all that you were able to do for my students.”
