Manipulatives Mania!
Funded Oct 13, 2014Thank you so very much for your generous donation to our classroom. My students were so excited when they say the variety of math manipulatives that we received from your donation. These wonderful resources have made learning more exciting and fun. They love being able to work with the variety of manipulatives from muffins, to cars, to vegetables, there is something more exciting about using these as opposed to just plain colored tiles that we had to use before. We use these resources in many different ways. They are used for math stations, as well as small group and independent work. The project was very helpful to me, I feel like I have options now when it comes to what manipulatives we can use for different activities. You're donation has definitely made our classroom a better place! Thank you again so very much!”

We Love Technology!
Funded Sep 30, 2014Thank you so very much for your extremely generous donation to our classroom. We were so excited to receive our iPad Mini and couldn't wait to get started using it! The kids were in disbelief that we received this wonderful resource for our classroom, they were so excited!
My students are able to use the pad Mini in many different ways. We use it for math stations, guided reading, language arts stations, AR testing. I also use it to calculate running record information as well as posting attendance and checking email. It also gets lots of use through my rewards system! This has been an excellent technology resource that has been added to my classroom! Thank you again, so much for your donation to our classroom.”

Technology Makes Learning Fun!
Funded Oct 6, 2014Thank you so very much for your generous donation to our classroom. My students were so very excited when they learned that we received a new iPod for our classroom. This new addition has brought so much excitement to their learning.
My students enjoy using the iPod in stations. It brings their excitement for learning to a whole new level. We use them for both math and reading stations, as well as for taking AR tests. They are also able to use them to play games on, things that some students who don't have this type of technology available to them at home never get to experience. They love having this iPod in our classroom. Thank you for making learning exciting and fun to them!”

iPods For Learning

With the Ipods my students are able to use the numerous Apps for reinforcing math, reading, and phonics skills that they are learning in class. I also love to use it to reward them for good behavior. One of the main uses for these Ipods for the students is to read and take AR test on them. They love taking tests now that they are able to test on the Ipods, which is also encouraging them to read more and more. I love having it as another means of technology in the room. They love to use them during center time.

Building a Foundation for Reading!
Funded Oct 31, 2013Thank you so very much for your generous donation to our classroom. My students really enjoy all of the reading centers that you have helped to supply to our room. The students are able to use critical thinking skills to apply many of the necessary skills they need to be able to advance in their reading level. The centers work on skills such as beginning and ending sounds, rhyming words, syllable counts, building words, and simple sentences. My students get so excited when they see these reading centers put out for them to work on! These centers make center time learning fun and enjoyable! Ipad, Upad, We all need an Ipad!

Marvelous Math Centers

Because of your donation my students have lots of new and exciting math centers and are able to practice their math skills in a fun and exciting way every week! Our new math centers challenge us and help us to become critical thinkers while also reinforcing the skills we learn in the classroom for those students who need extra practice. Our class has gone from not having hardly any math centers to now having many to choose from! We can not thank you enough for your generous donation.”

Ipod, You Pod, We all Pod for Education
Funded Oct 22, 2012Thank you so very much for the Applie Ipod Touch, the Sony Ipod Docking Station, and our 5 new pair of headphones. Because of your generous donation to our classroom, we are now able to listen to our story for the week that is on our Ipod and plays through our Docking Station. We are also able to get up and get the "wiggles" out by dancing to music on our Ipod. The fun doesn't stop there, we have a blast playing the educational apps that are available through the Ipod. The headphones allow us to work on our computers and take AR test, while blocking out all other noises in the classroom. Your donation has definitely made our classroom a better place!
