  • Nature Journaling - Where Science, Art, and Literature Grow Together

    Funded Mar 1, 2025

Thank you so much for providing nature journaling supplies to my students for their class. Without your support, they would have only had small paperback journals, shared supplies and ziplock bags.

Through this project, my middle school students have been introduced to nature journaling and practiced several introductory observation and recording skills. They are continuing to use these kits every day to develop these and more skills into something they can be proud of. This interest will reach well beyond this first quarter of school.

One of the best things about this is students of all academic levels and from different ethnic backgrounds have seen that this is something they can do to track their interests and social emotional needs. In a time where students tend to have excessive screen time have seen that the grounding and calming effects of being outside and intentionally taking time to observe nature and reflect. That is really special for kids who sometimes struggle in other academic areas to find something they are good at. Thanks for making that possible!”

    With gratitude,

    Mrs. Rupsch

  • Spreading Kindness Through Creativity

    Funded Jan 11, 2023

Thank you so much for providing my students will art supplies to engage them in learning! While I like great activities to do with my students and as I am inspired by other great educators, there is not always the time and money to purchase and gather all the things that are needed to go with them.

There are so many other great educators that inspire and share ideas but we just sometimes have to chose to say no to some of the things we want. Thank you so much for not making me choose and help make a vision a reality.

My students loved painting their canvas, their national park ornaments and the buttons. Thanks again for your generosity! My students will be better because of it!”

    With gratitude,

    Mrs. Rupsch

  • Circuits, Stem Tools, and More

    Funded Jan 11, 2023

Thank you so much for you generous donations! While our students have been excited to work with the circuits this year, we have a special treat in store for them later this week. We will have a May 4th Star Wars Day and we plan on making mini LED light sabers! They are going to love this so much!

My students work hard every day and have learned so much and a great deal of that is because of generous donors like you! Thank you for allowing me the opportunity to provide students with fun memorable learning experiences! I am grateful for your support!”

    With gratitude,

    Mrs. Rupsch

  • Nature Journaling for SEL, Conservation, and Learning!

    Funded Sep 5, 2022

Thank you so much for providing my students will nature journals to engage them in learning! While I like great activities to do with my students and as I am inspired by other great educators, there is not always the time to gather all the things that are needed to go with them.

There are so many other great educators that inspire me, funding is usually one thing that holds me back especially when I teach 100 of them. Even small things get really expensive fast. My students are excited about their Nature Journals and have already enjoyed their first session and loved it!

Some students who were reluctant at first ending up being the most excited about it! Some even decided to join the club I started! That makes it all worth it!

I had wanted to do this for such a long time and thanks to generous donations like yours, it finally happened!”

    With gratitude,

    Mrs. Rupsch

My students are excited about their nature journaling kits. They have a nice zipper pouch to keep all their supplies handy and organized. We already had our first session and they can't wait for more. We plan to do a session once a month! Thanks again for your generosity! My students will be better because of it!”

  • Steam, Project Based Learning and Supplemental Science Resources

    Funded Aug 9, 2022

Thank you so much for providing my students will other resources to engage them in learning! While I like great activities to do with my students and as I am inspired by other great educators, there is not always the time to create all the things that are needed to go with them.

There are so many other great educators that have taken the time to create attractive and effective resources that they are willing to share with others. And while I know their time in creating is valuable and my time in not having to create them is valuable, we just sometimes have to chose to say no to some of the things we want. Thank you so much for not making me choose these few times.

My students are excited about their National Park Challenges and research projects and their projects will look awesome thanks for other teachers using those gift cards! They can't wait to dig in deeper in the next few months! Some of the more timid students are really getting excited about choosing their parks! Thanks again!”

  • 3Doodlers Pen Set for Creative Learning

    Funded May 3, 2021

My students have loved using these resources this year to think creatively about our science content. They have used them to make models and show what they have learned throughout the year.

Also, students enjoyed using these items during indoor recess and as occasional rewards when they did something good and got to spin the prize wheel. STEM activities were one of those options.

The students were so excited when we got these items in the mail. It was hard coming back to full time in person so it took a while before we were able to open and use them in the regular classroom. Once we went full time, didn't have to maintain social distancing, and were able to share classroom supplies, we have been able to make up for lost time!!”

    With gratitude,
