I teach a 5th grade class that consists of primarily low income/free and reduced lunch families. Students have a high need for help with all aspects of learning including supplies, books, and emotional support. I want to insure they have every opportunity to reach their full potential and to access an education that makes their learning fun and positive. These students have the potential to change the world. They are the future and deserve every chance at success. During the 20-21 school year I hope to provide every child a book they can keep every month and we will be exploring learning through real world explorations. These explorations are including raising trout in the classroom, exploring math in the real world, and reading for understanding in the real world. Please help me to pay for these books and adventures.
