Students can constantly and consistently write out work to problems, lay out ideas to building projects, and write key words in reading to help them learn and comprehend our state standards. My students absolutely love their student whiteboards, however there never seems to be enough room on them to lay out all of their ideas in our lessons. These tables would allow students to write out work for multiple step word problems on the 4th and 5th grade levels and give enough space to write out paragraph information in writing and reading that requires them to inquire about the topic or lesson we are studying. We do a lot of inquiry based lessons and they have to find and research more information that seems to just get lost on paper, balled up, or very little of it fits on their student whiteboards. They are constantly erasing part of needed work in order to write down another part on their boards to show me. These tables would help us to use and see all of our information and practice with before transferring anything into a final format. Students love that dry erase is not permanent and they can erase it forever if they make a mistake and try again without permanently seeing it on paper. It is definitely something that would be used all day, everyday!
