    Thank you so much for your generous donations to our classroom. With your help and support, we were able to purchase a flash drive and a Teacher Pay Teachers gift card. With this flash drive I am able to free up space on my laptop and have it run smoother during synchronous meets and lessons.

  • Print in Third Grade!

    Thank you so much for your generous donations to our classroom. With your help and support, we were able to purchase brand new printer with ink. With this printer I am able to make copies when needed, print out supports like graphic organizers or word lists, and send notices home to parents.

    My students are also very grateful for the printer. They know that when they want to bring the amazing work they did in school home to show their family, they are able to. They also share copies of graphic organizers when working with a partner or group!

  • Learning with Technology

    Thank you for your generous donations to our classroom. With your help and support, we were able to purchase brand new Amazon Fire Tablets. We have also purchased chart paper, a large pocket chart, and sentence strips.

    The tablets help us so much in the classroom. When researching and working in groups, students have access to the internet. Students who are learning English are able to translate what we are reading and be engaged in conversation. They are able to have a translated conversation with their classmates with ease thanks to the tablets. The tablets are also being used to play online educational games to review for tests!

    The chart paper is being put to great use. When students are working in groups, they can write their ideas on the paper and display it to the class to have a large class discussion. The sentence strips and packet chart are displayed in the front of the room showing the vocabulary words of the week, so students can easily reference them.

    The new supplies in our classroom have increased student motivation in our classroom. Thank you so much!”

The students in my classes have all different needs. Some are ELLs, some need some extra support, and some just need a challenge for when they're done with their work. Although we have ways to help and challenge students now, tablets are very engaging for them and multiple resources are accessible. Having access to tablets in my classroom will give students the resources they need in order to succeed. My ELL students will be able to translate class novels, students with learning disabilities will have extra support, and students who need to be more challenged will have online enrichment. Not only will these tablets help my students this year, but many students to come! The large pocket chart and sentence strips will help create a great vocabulary word wall for their weekly vocabulary words. The chart paper will help me create anchor charts to support students while working independently, as well as when they are working in groups.
