  • Enhancing Through Technology and Storage

    Funded Feb 17, 2025

Your generosity is immeasurable. The impact your donation has on my classroom will reach generations of low income students for years to come. Through enhanced technology, my students will have a hands-on educational experience that supports their learning everyday. Providing them with space to store their materials and personal belongings will bring not only joy to them, but allows them to learn responsibility and organizational skills that will set them up for life.”

    With gratitude,

    Ms. Schoettle

The Room 22 Family would like to extend our greatest THANK YOU to all who helped made this room our home. The school year has been nothing short of amazing so far because of the materials provided to us through this project. We use each piece of furniture, office supplies, lighting materials, and the rest of the materials daily. They truly make each day run smoother and help to make the classroom a perfect fit for this group.

The students in this classroom use the objects funded by YOU, our donors, each and every day. We have visitors in the building, as well as other teachers and students who like to stop and check out our room set up. They always compliment the dim lighting made possible by the lamps you donated towards. Another HUGE hit are the tall, white stools purchased from Amazon through your contributions. Students are always wants to sit and swivel on these!

I could go on and on about the impact these materials have had on not only my students, but the successes I have experienced during my first year of teaching. Not everyone can say they had such awesome (and new!) materials their first year of teaching. I am lucky enough to say these have made my very first classroom a perfect fit to my everyday life as a teacher. Thank you, from the bottom of my heart for making this possible.”

    With gratitude,

    Ms. Schoettle

My students are diverse, hardworking, and CAPABLE. In room 22, I will have kiddos of many different abilities and backgrounds. Many of these students come from low income families, allowing them to qualify for free or reduced lunch and breakfast. In fact, a little over 70% of our students qualify for this! It is my goal to create a safe and comfortable space for all students to learn. To be their safe space and a mentor for all is something I feel privileged to do. However, I cannot provide all the materials my first year on my own!
