  • Help Move Reading Levels!

    Funded Mar 11, 2020

There is so much to say towards this generous donation. My student's are going to be so excited for their new books. These new additions will help my student's progress in their reading career.

All these chapter books that have been requested are books for my lower leveled baskets. There weren't enough chapter books to get my student's thinking about the characters, setting, problem, solution, and lessons of their fiction stories.

These new additions will help them immensely and I can't thank you enough!”

    With gratitude,

    Mrs. Riccoboni

  • Books Galore!

    Funded Dec 4, 2019

This project is going to help my classroom in so many ways. The books are to help create book clubs for my historical fiction reading unit which is this month. Civil Rights Movement is a difficult topic for 9 year olds to understand. Providing them with picture books will help them be able to get a better image and understanding of the time period.

The weather nonfiction books will help for another reading unit. The books are to help provide reading book clubs for student's to discuss new things they are learning.

Thank you for helping in every way possible!”

    With gratitude,

    Mrs. Riccoboni

  • Learning With Osmo

    Funded Nov 8, 2019

Thank you so much for your generous donation! This project will help my student's explore the coding and drawing world for their Genius Hour. Osmo will help student's learn how to code, problem solve, and use their critical thinking abilities. There are also math games which will help them use real life application which is vital in education. Can't wait to use it with them and be able to help expand their technology in the classroom. Thank you once again for your help in my classroom. Can't wait to share pictures of their creations!”

  • Let's Move Reading Levels

    Funded Oct 4, 2019

The books have arrived and the students are loving all of them! They will help them over time move reading levels since now there are a variety of chapter books for them to read. Reading is very important in our classroom. As they are reading, we ask them to look for particular things in their books like, symbols, characters, problems, etc. Chapter books are a better way for students to be able to do this. They show understanding of the story and you helped do that by providing us with the right books they need.

Thank you so much for donating to my project and for helping my students.”

    With gratitude,

    Mrs. Riccoboni

  • Reading Winners!

    Funded Sep 5, 2019

Thank you so much for your generous donations towards my project. My students love all of their new book series. Everyday they are asking to be able to have more reading time because they want to finish their new books. When ever we have some free time the student automatically ask if they can read any of the new book series. This brings me so much joy to hear, since reading is such a struggle. You have helped my class find a passion for reading and I am beyond grateful for all of your donations.”

    With gratitude,

    Mrs. Riccoboni

  • Keeping It OCD

    Funded Sep 10, 2019

Thank you so much for your generous donations towards my project. I can not wait to introduce my student to their new Writing Center. This will help with organization and student leadership in the classroom. Students will be able to get their publishing paper in the colored draws. The photo boxes are for sight words since my students need a lot of repetition with sight words. They will be organized by grade. Also those photo boxes will be used for literacy centers, reading, math, and writing centers. I can't wait to show them. Thank you once again for helping my classroom!”

    With gratitude,

    Mrs. Riccoboni

  • Reading Ready!

I would like to thank everyone who has donated to Reading Ready project. The new classroom books will help engaged students that are relatable to their lives. This will help motivate the students to move reading levels as well. The new books will help the class also with its new writing unit, we will be using at the end of the school year. My fourth grade students love using technology to gain new information as well master skills in their academics. If my students receive the iPads they will be able to use MyLexia, Raz Kids, Brain Pop, Prodigy, Moby Max, and so many more educational websites. Every day my students are trying to gain access to the three classroom computers we have to play educational Math games, do research on our current reading unit Rainforest, or listen to music to help the students create poems. Not only will the iPads let students access all of these lovely websites, but also make learning fun for them!
