I have a variety of needs in my classroom. A few of the needs are books. I have students who read at all different levels, and who have requested different types of books to help them grow. We also use headphones for our reading assessments and online math program. Some students can not provide their own due to home circumstances. Adding a few to my class will allow all students to be able to use the voice aspects of the computer programs while in class. We have also adopted a new math program this year that is showing the need for math manipulatives now, more than ever. I would l like to use these hands-on activities to allow conceptual and visual understanding rather than just seeing how a problem is done on paper. We have also had quite a few inside lunch and recess days because of inclement weather this year. My students love playing games and I would like to add some games that they have said they love. Games are also a great reward for the class.
