My students are very bright individuals who are on the Autism spectrum. My students are creative and love learning. My classroom is a place that they can take a much needed break after moving about in the hallways of 1,300 students. It is my goal to create and atmosphere that is inviting and comfortable for them to take a break. Students with Autism senses can become over stimulated by sound, smells, and even lights. The Focus classroom is setup to accommodate them a safe place for their sensory needs to be met
