With your help, I plan to incorporate a variety of seating options to allow my scholars to learn in the most ideal environment for them. Flexible seating provides students access to take charge of their learning and make choices that work best for them. My students are noticeably more engaged in their work when they are given flexible seating options. Everyone learns differently and in order to be successful, scholars need different seating options. The flexible seating options I selected are beneficial to scholars that prefer to be active and allow for movement while remaining seated. The wobble stools will allow students to sit at their table while providing some movement. The chair bands will allow scholars to move their legs when they feel restless. The balance discs provide extra stimulus to scholars who need it while seated. Most importantly, all of these flexible seating options will allow my scholars to get their wiggles out. I have seen how flexible seating can positively influence a classroom environment, and I hope that I am able to bring flexible seating to my class to help my scholars grow!
