  • Reading Tools That Rock!

    Funded Aug 15, 2024

Thank you so much for helping create a fun classroom for student to learn! This school year is flying by, but in such a fun way thanks to your help.

I'm able to pull out a variety of tools that help keep our mundane reading intervention routines feeling fresh. Students love being able to use the white board markers, map out the sounds of sight words on the index cards, and build new words with the colorful magnet letter trays.

I truly mean it when I say you have helped bring magic to my reading intervention time. Without your help I'm not sure I could make the basic routine of learning to read as fun or engaging.”

    With gratitude,

    Mrs. Santiago

  • Reading Intervention Tools That Rock!

    Funded Oct 13, 2023

Thank you for helping create such an inviting and enriching place for struggling students. It can be very intimidating for students to come to a place they know they will be working on skills that are hard for them. By having the engaging reading tools in the intervention room, you've helped me pull in so many students.

The students love having a variety of tools to write, read, and work on phonics with. Although students have their favorites, rotating through the tools helps keeps our reading routines feeling fresh and engaging.

Thank you so much for helping create a love of reading for so many students. You are helping make a huge difference.”

  • Snacks for All!

    Funded Feb 9, 2023

Thank you for helping us make it through the end of another school year. Empty bellies are a huge distraction. So a huge thank you for helping fuel bellies...and in turn help focus little minds! My students were so grateful to have snack daily and know they were able to ask for extras in times of need.

Not only did your dontations provide energy, but they also provided equity. Without the classroom snack bucket, only a handful of students would be able to bring snacks from home daily.

Thank you for making such a huge impact on my classroom this year. You made a big difference for many little humans.”

    With gratitude,

    Mrs. Santiago

  • Supporting Emotional Needs with Comfy Bean Bag Chairs

    Funded Nov 29, 2022

The beanbags you helped provide our classroom have provided so many new learning spaces. One is permanently part of our "calming corner" and is always available for a student who needs to refocus or regulate. So many great chats with students and emotional growtj has happened in this space.

The other two beanbags have provided my students with a comfy place to read, write, and get immersed in their studies. Thank you for helping my classroom become a bigger, comfier, and emotionally safer space for my students to grow and learn. We are all so grateful for them.”

  • S.T.E.M. for All Ages

    Funded Dec 5, 2022

Thank you so much for helping add more learning tools to our STEAM lab. It has amazing to see our students' little minds at work. They have been building, exploring, and creating. It has amazing to see not only their curiosity for STEM grow, but also their team work and creativity. Thank you for providing such a unique space to our school.

With your tools we were able to expand our STEAM lab to younger grades. Students from 3-5th have been able to all enjoy the space together. Our hope is to introduce this space to even younger grades soon.

Thank you so much for adding such creative tools to our Creative Arts school. Our team of teachers here at EBSOLA is so grateful for your generous donations.”

  • Help Feed My Friends 2022-23

    Funded Sep 23, 2022

It is an undescribable feeling to be able to feed your students and know that you can take care of them whenever they are in need. You have been able to give me that gift by helping provide snacks to my students. Most students are unable to bring snacks from home and it's been great to be able to have a daily snack time as part of afternoon routine. Without it I'm not sure we would be able to make our afternoons as productive and engaging as they have been. I am so grateful for your help and donations. I know my students are as well. Thank you for ensuring all students are cared for and helping yo make sure no student goes through the school day hungry!”

  • Broadening Our View With New Multicultural Books

    Funded May 4, 2022

It's an amazing feeling to know your students are seeing themselves in the books they are reading. Not only have I seen this build confidence but also gives students the opportunity to have new an inspiring role models.

All the girls in my class have excitedly taken turns reading "I am Malala Yousafzai". To have such inspiring role models has inspired great discussions and will have an amazing long term impact as well.

Thank you for helping make our classroom library a more diverse set of resources and one that reflects my students. When students can seem themselves in books they are opened up to a world of possibilities.”

  • Pencils, Erasers, and Markers- Oh My!

    Funded May 7, 2022

Thank you so much for helping our classroom be an equitable and welcoming place to learn. It's an incredible feeling to know that I can make sure all students have the school supplies they need, and it's all thanks to your help.

The best example of this happend just a few short weeks ago. A student transfered late into our class. He felt out of place for missing the first few weeks of bonding with our class and also was out of sorts from moving to a new state. Unable to provide his own school supplies, I was able to fill his desk with everything he needed and he was able to feel a little bit of normalcy. I watch him ease into his new class, begin building class relationships, and confidently get out tools for each learning activity.

Donors like you help make these amazing moment happen. Thank you for helping my little learners be ready for big learning moments!”

  • Wiggly and Wobbly Work Stations

    Funded Jan 13, 2022

Thank you for helping provide tools for all my students' wiggles! Prior to your donations, my students were sharing one wobble seat. There was obviously a greater need and with your help I was able to give tools to so many more students. Students have learned to advocate when they are in need of one of our ball seats or wiggle stools, and it has genuinely helped them wiggle while they work. I can't thank you enough for helping build my students' work stamina with these amazing seating alternatives. From all of us, thank you so much!”

  • 1, 2,3.... Time to Read with Me!

    Funded Jan 8, 2022

Thank you so much for helping me provide such amazing tools for my students! Your donations helped purchase and create differentiated activities to help each student at their phonemic awareness level. We immediately got to work implementing these resources for our students with the greatest need. Boy did they love them! I already have students who are asking for "the next level" and other who ask to take them home for extra practice. Not only have these activity folders help build skills, but they have helped build confidence. Thank you so much for helping bring this amazing set of tools to our third grade students!”

Each day students use items like pencils, markers, and headphones to create mistakes and show growth during reading and math activities. My growing authors use pencils daily. Whiteboard markers are their favorite tools for math zones. They love writing on the tables! They grow using these everyday tools. These supplies help me to differentiate learning and create engaging activities. With each student having headphones, they will be able to focus better during their individualized instruction. These will also help reduce noise classmates with noise sensitivity. They will also be able to call something their own, which many students do not get to do.
