I am eager to prioritize my scholars' reading proficiency as well as their social and emotional development as we recover from the pandemic. In order to do that, we need materials and other supports to make learning accessible and exciting for all scholars regardless of their ability. Based on data collected at the beginning of the year, 75% of my first grade scholars are reading well below the first grade benchmark reading level.

About my class
