My students come from diverse backgrounds and have various academic levels. Teaching at a Title One school where almost 80% of the school population is on free or reduced lunch can be challenging. Fourth grade is a year of different expectations and new learning. We build on reading skills they learned the previous year, but also introduce text based writing. Essay writing is a difficult skill for 9-10 year old students. I need materials that are suitable for all levels of academic ability. The key to my students success is the availability of high quality materials. Help me help my 45 students that deserve the best!
