  • Let Us Be Heard!

    Funded Dec 29, 2021

Thank you so much for helping us get a speaker for our room! Having our lessons come to life with impactful sound, has made things easier for all learners. When we were wearing our facemasks, it was extremely hard to hear what was being said, but having a speaker helped us all out immensely!

When we connect our microphones through the speaker system, students are able to work on their public speaking skills as well, which was a surprise benefit from this project!

Thank you again for all of your support!”

    With gratitude,

    Ms. Fliegelman

  • InCENTives Earned!

    Funded Dec 29, 2021

Thank you so much for helping us get a plethora of prizes that students are able to "purchase" from our Technology Shop! Students are motivated to earn their Tech Dollars by staying on task and completing whatever work is presented to them. This has helped our learning tremendously as limited disruptions occur.

At the same time, we are offering our learners a way to understand the concept of instant gratification vs. saving. This has been seen in students from as young as 5 years, and will hopefully carry on with them in years to come.”

    With gratitude,

    Ms. Fliegelman

  • Distance and Disinfect

    Funded Dec 29, 2021

Thank you for helping us get our project funded! Having a Clorox sanitizer machine is extremely helpful in assuring that our workspaces stay clean and sanitized for each student. While we are still combating variants of Covid and with the flu season upon us, keeping our students safe from germs will help assure that their learning continues with limited interruptions.

Having a constant rotation of classes in the Tech Lab increases the amounts of germs that are able to be spread, but by sparing our Clorox Disinfectant in between classes, students are more likely to stay healthy and ready to learn.

    Thank You!”

    With gratitude,

    Ms. Fliegelman

  • Organized Carts

    Funded Aug 24, 2022

Thank you so much for helping us complete this project! Since receiving the materials, Chromebook Carts have been color-coded and distributed to all classes from Kindergarten-5th grade! Offering our students an organized way to house and charge their devices, makes it easier for everyone to assure that devices are ready for them to engage in their daily lessons.

Our younger students are able to use the color-coded tape to identify where their devices need to be placed and charged. Giving students the chance to be proactive with getting their devices prepared is a critical skill that will stay with them for years to come.

    Thank you again for everything!”

    With gratitude,

  • Originate With Sublimate

    Funded Jun 10, 2021

Thank you so much for helping this project come to life! We've been using the sublimation materials to create some pretty cool personalized gifts for our students and their loved ones!

Some of our projects included personalized mugs and supply bags that students created on their own! When they saw their drawings on actual items their faces were lit with excitement and pride!

Thank you for helping this happen! There is nothing more heartwarming than having our students develop the sense of pride that these unique projects offer them.”

  • Cricut Happy!

    Funded May 27, 2021

Thank you so much for helping us get started with our Cricut! We have been able to make classroom decorations and cards so far. Students are going to be learning how to create their own projects later on this year as a unit of Tech.

We are so excited to have this addition to our room and will be sure to use it and showcase our creativity!

Last year for our end-of-the-year projects, teachers used the Cricut machine to create end-of-the-year gifts for their classes. The students were so excited to receive these personalized gifts!”

Thank you for helping us get the sublimation ink we so desperately needed to complete our personal end-of-the-year projects! We couldn't have done it without your generosity and continued support of our students, especially during these trying times. I work at an inner-city elementary school in a first grade ICT (Integrated Co-Teaching) classroom as the general studies teacher. For those of you who don't know, ICT classrooms have both special needs and general ed students. Many of my students are below the poverty line, and the majority receive breakfast at school. Literacy is not promoted in many of their homes- in fact, some parents can't read.
