Transforming my classroom space will greatly increase and elevate student engagement. As teachers, we need to provide the best possible learning environment for our students. Allowing students different choices of where and how they can complete their work, will improve student participation and collaboration. Adults aren't stuck in hard wooden chairs all day long, so why should kids? Kids like to lay on the floor, wiggle their legs, and just be comfortable. Adding these different types of seating arrangements to my classroom will provide the learning environment that kids need. Allowing student choice for learning will have a positive impact on my classroom.
