We are a low income, inner city neighborhood school. The students do not have access to technology in their homes which limits their future potential. Many of the parents realize the limitations placed on their children, but wish for more opportunities that can push their children on towards higher education. The students are hungry for anything we, as teachers, can offer.
They thrive with structure and high expectations and strive to attain the expectations set before them. The students respond well to technology and learn it with ease. The more opportunities they are offered with technology in school will help them stay on course with their peers. Their minds are wide open to receive new information and skills that technology can provide.
