  • Happy Campers Going New Places...in Books!

    Funded Jul 12, 2022

It is with a loving, teacher’s heart that I express my gratitude for your donation! My project was fully funded because of you. Many students will find their love of reading through your efforts. I’ll use each of these items with care to educate my students. Thank you.”

    With gratitude,

    Mrs. Tatum

  • Happy, Healthy COVID Fighters!

    Funded Aug 15, 2020

My class and I are enjoying fresh, clean air daily from our Donors Choose air purifier. The students actually ask for it to be turned on if I forget! The disposable masks have been life savers, as 3rd graders frequently forget a mask. We simply go to our donated disposable masks and have a solution!

When the students first saw the automatic soap dispenser, they couldn't wait to wash their hands, which has been wonderful. I can refill the soap dispenser frequently using our donated soap!

The books we received from our donor have been devoured by children who did not have access to books during their six months of isolation. I have used the rubber gloves frequently when dealing with sick children.

Our next steps are to enjoy seeing our teachers face as she teaches using her face shield. It is so much easier to understand her when she wears it.”

    With gratitude,

    Mrs. Tatum

Having an air purifier will provide a clean-air, safe classroom atmosphere and improve student focus, while fostering feelings of safety at school during a pandemic. As each child uses their own computer mouse, they will not have to share equipment and thus reduce germ contact. My students will use the touch-less soap dispenser, soap, masks and gloves while being germ aware and healthy while learning. Using covered organizers for turning in papers will help us keep germs at bay from our paper assignments. Being able to enjoy their favorite books individually by reading the "Who Would Win" and "National Geographic" series will give them time to escape the uncertainties of this time of masks and social distancing, while learning.
