  • Teacher for a Day!

    Funded Jan 13, 2023

Thank you for donating to my project! My students love being the "teacher" for a day! We take several things into consideration on who gets to be the teacher, such as behavior, staying on task, being a helping hand, not playing in hallways, and no other teacher having to correct them! My students work hard to get to be the teacher to help me with things in and out of the classroom! They have learned better expectations from each other and this has also helped my students in being kind to one another!”

    With gratitude,

    Mrs. Crawford

  • Don't Go Hungry!

    Funded Dec 6, 2022

Thank you for helping me get snacks for my classroom, my students have not been going hungry because of your generosity! Many of them who do not get breakfast are thriving each morning because of all the extra breakfast items we received! My students were so shocked when they saw that they were able to have a snack in the afternoon before we dismissed for the day! I can not even begin to explain what this meant to me and to my students! I love being able to tell my students that there are such wonderful people who love to help us in the classroom!”

  • Seating for All!

    Funded Nov 30, 2022

Thank you for helping me get new seating for my classroom for my small group table. These chairs have already played a huge role in my students daily routine! They loves these chairs and they are wonderful. My students were so excited to see new chairs at my table they love being able to have a comfortable seat to sit in while doing work. We made classroom rules about how we will treat these chairs and how we will take care of them when we sit in them. The students love that they got to help take care of something that benefits them in our classroom each day!”

  • Keep the Germs Away!

    Funded Oct 27, 2022

Thank you for helping me keep my students healthy throughout this school year. With all the illnesses out there this allows me to do my best in keeping a nice clean classroom. My students actually love helping me clean my classroom whether it is in the morning or before we leave for the day! To me this allows them to learn proper cleaning habits if they are willing to help me around the classroom. I did receive a few basic needs for my classroom that are always needed and that we go through every single day! Thank you for your support!”

  • Making the Classroom Home!

    Funded Oct 5, 2022

I can not thank you for your support in making my classroom feel more like home! My students love to do independent work on the carpet so that they are able to make themselves cozy while they work instead of sitting on just the floor. My students were shocked when they saw it and were all smiles when walking into the classroom! We talked about how people like to help when they are able to so that we can have a nicer classroom in order to make it feel more like home! I allow several different students each day to sit on the carpet when we are doing a whole group lesson and they love it when it is their turn!”

  • Hearing New Things

    Funded Sep 6, 2022

Thank you for helping out our classroom this benefits my students to do activities on their computer! Many students are on different levels of learning so therefore they are all on different things, this helps them to focus on what they are doing without hearing others around them. This allows them to do better and immerse themselves in the technology on their computer. Many students still choose to use the headphones when doing other things as they say it helps them concentrate on what they are doing without getting distracted.”

    With gratitude,

    Mrs. Crawford

  • Help Yourself Help All!

    Funded Aug 9, 2022

This has been such a helpful project as my students have had more resources given to them, we have been able to use more technology within the classroom. We are using task cards that are a game which are self checking. This is beneficial for the students so that as they work if they get it wrong they are able to see the mistake that they may have made within the problem.

My students are excited because they get to work in pairs more than they did before we have certain days where we use these materials so they know when those days are and they are most excited for those days because it means they get to do their work with a partner.

I have noticed an increase in some of their learning thanks to this technology because it gives them a chance to determine their mistakes before I am telling them where there mistake is.”

  • Crayoning to Success

    Funded Nov 30, 2021

Thank you so much for helping my students! They are using the resources that were given to them by completing math coloring sheets, that are useful to the standards that we do each week! We do a coloring sheet each week so that they are getting to do something fun while also learning the material that we are reviewing. The students were so happy to receive the items, their favorite are the crayons because it meant that they could do more fun activities during the week. Many of these students are creative but have had no way of showing it without the resources that they needed! I and my students can not thank you all enough!”

The students will have a hands on learning experience with these items. These items will enhance their learning during small groups and allow them opportunities that they may not be given any other time. I expect my students to have higher learning goals with these resources than they would without these resources. Many of my students need this as extra practice in the classroom during small groups that I may not be able to give them. These materials are great for students to be hands on and learning by doing!
