The Ergonomic Classroom
Funded Jan 22, 2024Hooray! Students were so stoked to be able to have access to a standing desk that meets their physical needs. They love that it is adjustable to each of their heights, and utilize it daily. They each have placed a piece of themselves on this desk to make it feel more like it belongs to them, which has helped when they are taking turns using the desk.
The chair is also great because it meets the needs of my most antsy students. They are able to lean back, lean forward, rest their legs, cross their legs, lower and heighten the chair. They are always so eager for their turn to use the chair and have been doing a great job sharing it. Thanks again so much for meeting my students' needs!”

No Fear!
Funded Apr 2, 2024Hooray! So stoked to have these books on hand for students to be able to have access to. I teach so many students who have a hard time grasping Shakespeare and this will make lessons so much more accessible! Thank you as always for your donations to my students; they really appreciate it!”

Summer Send-Off
Funded Apr 2, 2024Hooray! This is super exciting for my students. They'll be so stoked to have music from their year for the summer. These memories will stick with them for as long as they know how to operate a CD player. Thanks so much for helping create a fun send-off for my kids!”

The Ultimate Para Pack
Funded Dec 31, 2022My paras this year were thrilled when they learned of their ultimate para packs. These packs were used with fidelity, and decorated to each para's likeness. Each para was able to pack their fanny packs with items that suited each student, such as timers, fidgets, and snacks for students.
Your amazing contributions have helped to increase morale here in my classroom this year, and the paras would like to extend their thanks to you with your help in supporting them with some of the toughest students they have encountered up to date.
Thank you again, so much, from the bottom of our hearts.”

More Unit Books
Funded Jan 18, 2023Wow! Thank you again for supporting my classroom. We are so stoked to have materials to use to get us through the end of the school year and into next school year.
You all have been so amazing in supporting me through my elementary years and I wanted to say a big thank you. I really appreciate all that you have done and said for my students and staff. You really are such an integral part of my teaching experience, and the learning experience of my students. Please know that you have helped so much this year in supporting us, and we will be forever grateful.”

Beginning of the Year Units
Funded Aug 1, 2022Unfortunately, we have not been able to roll out everything yet! With such turmoil in staffing and figuring out how to run this new program this year, we're working on maintaining skills rather than introducing new skills. However, not all is lost! We will be using these "beginning of year units" beginning in January! So, the purpose of these units will still be fulfilled, just not in the timely manner that most of us were expecting. Such is life. I'm just glad students will be able to have the skills necessary to access these units when I bring them out!”

Enhancing Pre-Academics
Funded Jan 13, 2022Woohoo! These pre-academic materials have been an amazing addition to our classroom! Students have been able to utilize file folders and work on their pre-academic as well as grade-level academic skills. It's been amazing to see these kiddos grow with the support of these materials, and I'm hopeful that they'll remain in our classroom to continue the learning growth of each student.
We are slowly getting through all of the file folders and will continue to utilize them into next year, so please keep us in mind as we continue growing! Thank you for helping us out during this extra tough school year- your support is so appreciated!”

Odds and Ends
Funded Jan 10, 2022Thank you so much for your continued support to these kiddos! They were able to take advantage of the odds and ends we use daily in the classroom. We have been feeling extra supported with the organizational materials we received, as well as the fidgets we've been using as focus tools. Watching these kids grow over the school year with your added support has been amazing, and we thank you from the bottom of our hearts!
We're excited to see what the rest of the school year holds for us, as well as how we'll continue to grow into next year. Thank you!”

Board Books and Beyond!
Funded Oct 11, 2021We were so excited to receive our board books from this project. We were able to get new board books to support our learning through several different units. Board books are valuable to our classroom because the pages are so easy to turn, and they are durable books that will last us years to come.
Students with higher support needs have been able to use these board books daily in our classroom. They are able to independently pick them up and peruse each book. Some books even are tactile, which is amazing for us!
Thank you again so much for continuing to support this classroom. Students, teachers, and families are so excited to have your continued support throughout the school year.”

Story Time Visuals
Funded Aug 13, 2021The visuals that were ordered through this project have already been used so frequently in our classroom! They have helped to engage students during read aloud or during speech sessions. Students were excited to see the wide array of materials that could be used during read alouds, and have taken ownership over each read aloud with the support of the visuals.
We have definitely used the Brown Bear visuals the most, since that is a class favorite! Students are able to see enlarged versions of each character in Brown Bear, and see them in order on the board. They are also able to manipulate each felt piece, and match it to each page on the book, which has been extremely beneficial to their literacy learning.
Thank you again so much for your continued contributions! We so appreciate you.”
