We Need BOOKS!

I am SO excited to see our project is funded!! Having books that are leveled that my students can use DAILY will be such an amazing tool. They will be able to book shop and use these books during Independent and Partner reading. They will also be able to have choices and be able to select what they enjoy reading as well!! This will be a tremendous help to our balanced literacy approach at LOES!”

This classroom project was brought to life by an anonymous donor and 4 other donors.

We have no books! Kindergarten is the time where children come to school and learn how to be readers. They should have different books in their hands throughout the day, week, and year! Without books, there is no way for them to learn how to read and grow as readers! Having a library of leveled readers A-E will help students not only begin to grasp what reading is but grow to their appropriate level! Having these sets of books will start our classroom library. My students will be able to love reading when they actually get to hold and read books for themselves. We need your help!
