The materials and supplies that I’m requesting will be used by my Pre-K students throughout our daily learning in our classroom. The wobble stools will be used by the students who need a bit of support when sitting on the carpet during circle time can be difficult for them. The big floor puzzles, letter construction, and the Marbotic Smart kit will aid in my student’s development of cognitive skills, problem-solving, fine motor development, hand and eye coordination, social development and self-esteem. The books and sound bowl will be used to incorporate mindfulness in our classroom through sound, reading about how our brain works and learning to focus on our breath and how important it is for my students to slow down and learn to self-regulate their minds and bodies. We live in a fast-paced world and teaching my students the importance of being in the moment will provide them with lifelong learning skills that could help them as they grow.
