Organized Small Group Work
Funded Mar 25, 2025Thank you for being a part of this amazing community of supporters and partners in helping teachers like me, get our hands on materials we believe will enhance our students’ learning. Small group work is meaningful in itself, when teachers meet with 3-5 students at a time and get to work on targeting skills that need further development. This work is essential and thanks to your contribution, it will now be more organized for myself and my students.”

Eye-Catching Anchor Charts
Funded Sep 18, 2024Thanks to your donations I am able to design and create various anchor charts. Anchor charts are a teaching tool, as well as reference tool that students learn to use as an additional resource for when they are working independently. Anchor charts present important information per topic and/or content area.
Teaching in a dual language setting creates double the workload in anchor charts but with the new markers I am able to color-code efficiently: blue and shades of blue or green are for English anchor charts, while red and shades of orange or purple are for Spanish anchor charts. The colors matter because depending on the day and language, students learn which anchor chart to reference while they work. The sticky chart paper also makes it easy to stick upon the whiteboard or walls of the classroom for better display.
Things have become a tad bit easier in our dual language classroom all thanks to your donation.”

Funded May 15, 2024With your funding, I am able to have a classroom environment that is clutter free and has purpose. Materials and rewards are in containers. Worksheets are in color coded file folders per content area. Crayons and other writing tools are organized by purpose of usage, with one container per classroom table. The snap-close lid containers are great for little hands to open and close independently which helps foster a sense of autonomy.
The large accordion file pocket helps keep colored cardstock organized for easy access when trying to print out materials for my students whether it be flash cards, cut and paste crafts or simply to make drawing and writing even better.
Our learning space is much lighter and we have a space that allows us to learn in with intent.”

Funded Aug 31, 2023Thank you for supporting our classroom project that brought these adorable, tangible social-emotional learning tools. I teach very young students who are just learning about their emotions and the emotions of others. We use the little spots of (insert emotion) as a monthly supplement to our school curriculum. Students enjoy sharing which "spot" they mostly identify with and we use the emotions poster from the booklet to identify which emotion we wish we could feel instead.
The emotion mirrors are fun tools that allow students to identify an emotion, seeing it represented on the face of a student like themselves and then they match it on the back, mirror side. We love using them during center time, morning meeting, and to practice understanding what others feel and create scenarios that may lead to feeling that certain way.
You've given my students the opportunity to develop social emotional intelligence through various modalities and we appreciate you very much for doing so.”

Funded Jan 8, 2024Thank you so much for funding these valuable materials for my classroom and kids! We have been able to get hands on and crafty for lessons with the help of these materials.
The printer has been a lifesaver! Whenever the school copier machines break down, I can always lean on my trusty printer. Whenever students come up with ideas for crafts, I can quickly find a resource and print it immediately in the room. If we are creating an anchor chart for a lesson together, I can print out their suggestions and add to the chart by the end of the day.
The cardstock, colorful paper has been used for cutting, pasting, crafts but also for copies that are important and need to be easy to come back to for help. Students love colorful paper and having so many options let's their creativity flow!”

Funded Aug 3, 2023Thank you for giving my students materials and tools to use to encourage them to want to write. It's very important to me as an early childhood educator to instill a genuine love and interest to learning. Young learners enjoy using tools that are different than the ordinary and they actually appreciate new items.
My students have used the little composition notebooks during various times of the day like for reading intervention in the morning, literacy centers midday and sketching towards to end of the day. I like to make them feel like real writers, feel like what they write is important enough for any to read, so we use our "special" writing pencils, the neon ones in different sizes, that give them "special writing powers" that help them write anything and everything they want!”

Funded Sep 29, 2022With this project, my diverse student body was able to play with "people" that they observed in their community as well as in their families. The people with disabilities helped start conversations amongst students about any prior encounters with people in walkers or wheelchairs. The people in culturally diverse clothes made an impression in students who have family that dress a certain way for special occasions or daily outfits.
The globe puzzle was a little challenging for my students to put together because early on they misplaced a piece and so we used the activity in a different way. Instead of putting it together we actually would just discuss the continents and then I would use our Chromebook to look up an animals that live in that continent and eventually we would go into monuments, special holidays celebrated in specific countries in that continent and more.”
