Center Blues!
Funded Nov 2, 2012I cannot express fully the gratitude I have for the unselfish donations you contributed to my class. Your donations have made a tremendous impact on the culture and organization in my classroom.
My students are very independent learners who enjoy learning and exploring new things. They are very crafty and we have, indeed, created many crafts with the finger paint, brushes, and other resources. My students use the table and chairs daily in centers as well as the bins which house our pencils, sound charts, warm-up activities, etc.
Kindergarten is such a pivotal time in the lives of early learners. Establishing a strong foundation and sparking a love of learning, essentially creates a lifelong learner. I am so thankful that you have been a part of this journey for these Kindergarteners and many to come.
Without donors like you, many classrooms and educators around our nation
would be forced to go without.”

Classroom Resources That Will Enhance Exceptional Learning
Funded Dec 6, 2010Your generous donations to my 2nd grade class ensured more effective teaching and learning. The kids certainly enjoyed having these additional resources to explore and use during centers and independent learning. I must say that the kids became so anxious and eager to receive the card board boxes. They knew that another shipment had come. I am so thankful for having these resources that I will continue to use throughout my teaching career. You will impact so many kids in the future and I'm truly grateful!”

Media Madness to Mature Great Minds
Funded Feb 11, 2011The donations that you made to my second grade class were amazing this year. The kids truly enjoyed exploring new ways to learn. Many of the kids enjoyed the retelling beach balls that we used during guided reading and whole group reading. It definitely gave a new twist to asking questions about the stories. The students also enjoyed the speechercise cd that we listened to regularly during listening center. All of these items were incorporated into our daily learning and I am so appreciative of your generosity and support of teaching and learning. I certainly applaud you for your contributions.

Funded Sep 7, 2010I am so grateful for the resources that all of you have given to my classroom. I actually kept my students abreast of the entire process, beginning with the proposal, funding, shipping and arrival of the materials. They were so excited when we received our "special" brown boxes.
The students have been using the math, writing, and language centers daily and it has greatly improved our teaching and learning. The students have used the crinkle cut scissors numerous times when beautifying their work for display. We've also enjoyed our Weekly Reader subscription and engage often in healthy discussions surrounding current events.
Again, you all have made such a tremendous impact on the lives of the students in my classroom. I am thankful to you and "Donors Choose" for filling in the voids that we have.
