Teaching in the Bay Area means that my classroom is full of diversity. Each year a wide range of languages, cultures, socioeconomic statuses, needs, and abilities enters my classroom. I enjoy the challenge of meeting all of their needs and love having the opportunity to learn from their diverse backgrounds. My fifth graders are curious and driven to learn more about the world around them. I strive to make my classroom a vibrant and inviting place where all students feel comfortable and eager to learn. Our motto is "peace, love, & learning." I don't just want my students to grow academically, but I want them to grow to be kind people and spread their peace and knowledge with the world.
