With you help, it is now possible to have an expanded iPad that will be able to hold all of our photos, games, videos and much much more.
My kids simply love the iPad. Who wouldn't? Its touch responsive and Siri is an added bonus. We ask it questions all the time even though she doesn't always have the answer we want :-)

Help Us Steam Into The Future With A New Computer!
Funded Apr 6, 2014WOW! What a HUGE difference a computer makes in the classroom! With our new computer I am able to show videos, create slide shows and much much more. Before, I would sometimes forget to bring in my personal laptop and we wouldn't have a computer for the day! Now, with the help from friend and family your generous donations have made it possible for us to have a computer in our room EVERYDAY!
The kids LOVE the big giant screen and how interactive it is! The hard drive is so big that I was able to transfer 12 of our music concerts it and there are room for at least 100 more! It's amazing!

Kinder Artists Need Some Stencils For Family Potraits!
Funded Apr 6, 2014My kids LOVE the new stencils! We use them almost everyday! Now, its easy for the little ones to build drawing skills and create family portraits of themselves! We are so lucky to have these new stencils and will use them for many years to come!
I can't thank you enough for letting us have this amazing opportunity! Without your help, this project would have never come to life. Now, all my 1,000 kids will be able to use these stencils before and during school.

Disney Help Us Take Our Artwork Outside With Sketchbooks!
Funded Apr 6, 2014WOW! Our new binding machine is simply amazing! The kids LOVE how fast and easy it is to make a sketchbook! Before, we used to staple sheets of paper together and call it a day. Now, we have a beautiful finished product with this thermal binding machine!
My kids are so thankful for this machine. Now, we have sketchbooks that we can take outside and bring our art everywhere! From the playground to the blacktop, we are able to sketch, color and paint in these new sketchbooks.

We Need Some New Colored Pencil In Art Class!
Funded Mar 21, 2014WOW! I can't believe that our colored pencils and crayons arrived only 4 days after this project was funded! With the new crayons and colored pencils, my kids are able to continuing making art projects till the end of the year Now , its possible for my kids to create art work that they can treasure for many years to come.

We Need To Get Organized In Our Art Room!
Funded Mar 13, 2014WOW! Can you believe that we received our items in a few days after being funded? The new bins and clear trays are simply amazing!
With 1,000 kids coming through are art room every week it can get very hard to stay organized. However, with you help you have made it possible to have our art room neat and tidy for all grades!
The colored bins are GREAT when I ask table captains to get supplies. Table captains pass out extra supplies such as crayons, paint etc while I'm giving instructions. Now, its very simple for them to find their supplies by color and item.
The clear trays are awesome for recycling our paper! We usually make our own paper around earth day. These clear trays will make it easy for us to organize it by color!

We Need Some More Laminating Film!

With the help of my my DC gift cards I was able to fund this project in your honor.
Our laminating film is something that we go though super fast every year. Without it our projects, posters and other materials would not last one day. (Many of my kids are accident prone like their teacher)
The kids LOVE having things preserved so they can't spill on their artwork or have their baby brother or sister rip it up.
Thank you for giving us the gift that keeps on giving...preserving our art! This laminating film will last us till the end of the year!”

We Need Some Paint And Painting Palettes!

Can you believe that our paint and painting trays came over 3 days after being funded? My kids were jumping for joy when the the boxes of paint arrived. They simply love to paint! However, paint is to expensive for all grades so I usually limit it to grades 3 to 5. Now, we will have enough paint to do at least one project per grade.
Thank you so much for giving us the gift of paint! Also, with the new cupcake pans, I can easily pass out paint and store it without it drying out!

We Need Wireless Airplay!
Funded Nov 6, 2013Thank you so much for our amazing wireless speaker! It is GREAT for the classroom and I can't wait to have it for our concerts. We have such an old school that we will rely on this speaker and a previously funded speaker project for the entire audience to listen to. It's not the best setup but with this wireless connectivity we are able to connect up to 3 more for even better sound.
My kids can't WAIT to put on a performance and I know that the audience can't WAIT to HEAR them!

Help Us Bring 2D To 3D In Art Class!
Funded Feb 13, 2014WOW! Our 3D printer is a HUGE hit. When I unboxed it the kids jaws hit the floor. They were super excited when I printed out the samples provided on the SD card. We made a bracelet, ape, comb and block. The kids were amazed how fast it printed!
I can't wait to start incorporating this 3D printer into our lessons. Currently, we are learning about Egypt and I plan to print a pyramid, sphinx and other various items. This 3D printer will allow to me link that I am teaching with examples from lessons.
